Gwyneth Paltrow and more celebs donate their shoes for Stand Up to Cancer
Gwyneth Paltrow, Twiggy, Davina McCall and Coleen Rooney are a few of the celebs who have donated and signed a pair of their shoes to be auctioned off for Stand Up to Cancer.
This is the first time Stand Up to Cancer has come to the UK, and was organised by Gwyneth Paltrow (the co-executive producer of Stand Up to Cancer USA) Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
You only have a few days to take part in the silent auction though, as it will end on Friday evening during Channel 4′s Stand Up to Cancer fundraiser.
“Stand Up to Cancer is a grassroots movement to raise funds for cancer research, to get new treatments to patients more quickly,” said Gwyneth Paltrow. ”We have the power to make cancer powerless – perhaps even end it. But it takes more research, and that requires funding. Cancer has taken some of the best among us, and it is time for us all to stand up and fight back.”
Tune in to Channel 4 this Friday to donate to the great cause.
