Harrods Disney Princess dresses finally unveiled!

24th October 2012 9:33 am

We know we weren’t the only ones to do an all too literal jump for joy when we learnt that Harrods and Disney would be teaming up this Christmas.

As we told you back in June, Christmas is going to be extra-magical at Harrods this year, as the Knightsbridge department store joined forces with a host of designers who created their own interpretations of some of the most iconic Disney Princess dresses… and now it’s finally time to take a look at what they’ve been working on.

Roberto Cavalli created a killer outfit for Pocahontas, Elie Saab redesigned Aurora from Sleeping Beauty’s dress, while Snow White got the Oscar de la Renta treatment.

Ariel from The Little Mermaid got a wonderful Marchesa makeover, Aladdin‘s Princess Jasmine got a hot pink Escada look, Cinderella’s ballgown came courtesy of Versace, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast has been draped in an exquisite Valentino creation. This is truly what dreams are made of!

Head to the Telegraph to see all the Disney Princesses come to life in the exclusive video… it actually gave us chills

The Christmas window will be officially unveiled on November 1st so not long to wait! Which one’s your favourite?

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
