Sneak peek at Rihanna’s River Island collection

6th November 2012 10:27 am

Details about Rihanna‘s upcoming collaboration with River Island have been few and far between, but this morning we have a little treat for you. Or rather, Ri Ri had a little treat for us, as she tweeted a sneaky picture of herself wearing one of her very own designs from the collection.

She tweeted the caption: “Me! Spring/ summer collection with River Island is in the bag! #designerlife #RIHverIsland”.

We think she’s pretty excited about it, and we don’t blame her! And from what we are seeing, it doesn’t look like the collection will solely consist of skimpy outfits that we wouldn’t be able to wear without going on a strict diet and gruelling exercise regime. Result!

We think it’s a very wise choice to put some chunkier items in the collection too – this is Blighty after all; definitely no need for skimpy California-style outfits over here.

The full collection is slated to drop mid-November. Are you impressed with what you see so far?

Ps: if you can’t wait to see more of Rihanna, don’t forget that she’ll be performing at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York tomorrow!
