Bella Freud pops up in Bicester Village

13th November 2012 10:39 am

Remember that 1970 jumper that all the celebs from Kate Moss to Alexa Chung are obsessed with? Well, it’s creator Bella Freud is opening her first ever store at Bicester Village, which means you can see the jumper and many more of her gorgeous creations in the flesh.

“A shop gives me the opportunity to create a little world and reveal the background to some of my ideas,” she told British Vogue. “It’s quite an intimate space and I have created lots of new products, such as Ginsberg Is God and Je T’Aime Jane scented candles, badges, kids dog T-shirts and lots of other desirable things. Bicester Village is incredibly well-run and has great marketing and outreach.”

The pop up store is open until the middle of January, and you never know, Bella may get a more permanent residence sometime in the near future. The designer even hinted that she had her eye on Mount Street, so watch this space!

Will you be popping in to check it out?

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
