Capture moments of beauty in the Montblanc Worldsecond photo project

Inspired by the idea of recording time, Montblanc has launched “The Montblanc Worldsecond” photo project which enables the world to participate in taking a picture at the exact same time.

Everyone in the world is invited to capture moments of beauty through the specially developed mobile photo app which you can download on your iPhone and Android phones. And here’s the clever bit: the app features a unique countdown function, which means that all the participants in the world will be taking their picture at the exact same time. Pretty cool, right?

Montblanc aims to record a total of 60 “Worldseconds” from now until the end of December, which means there are plenty of opportunities to take part and let your imaginations go wild. The pictures will then be uploaded to the website, where a stunning mosaic of the aforementioned pictures will be displayed.  You will then be able to choose from all the uploaded photos to compile your own photo galleries and share them with your friends.

And to make things more interesting, Montblanc has turned it into a bit of a competition. There are two categories (“Worldsecond Photo” and “Worldsecond Gallery”), which means two opportunities to be in with a chance of winning a watch from the Montblanc TimeWalker collection.
