Catherine Zeta Jones talks bipolar disorder and dream wardrobes in InStyle US December

19th November 2012 10:02 am

While the UK edition of InStyle features one of the world’s greatest young actresses on the cover, across the pond the magazine has gone with a well-loved classic actress otherwise known as Miss Catherine Zeta Jones.

Always effortless in her elegance, style and demeanour, Catherine is the perfect candidate to help InStyle US conclude its year. Especially since she’s kept out of the spotlight recently and we’ve kind of missed her!

We’re not overly keen on the darkness and harshness of the editing, but Catherine’s beauty still shines through regardless. Plus her black dress is totally grabbing our attention; that’s what Christmas party frocks are all about, people!

Catherine’s interview was just as frank, honest and humorous as we anticipated, as she talks about keeping her bipolar disorder on the down low, and building a wardrobe that easily rivals Carrie Bradshaw’s…

“I’m building a closet in my house now, and it’s like a dream,” she said. “Racks on each side, a whole boudoir. I sit in there and watch CNN. Michael says one day I’m going to go in and never come out!”

Eat your heart out, Carrie! Read the rest of Catherine’s interview and see more gorgeous pics in InStyle US’s December issue.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
