10 Avalanche-proof winter boots under £100

28th November 2012 1:48 am

Although the arrival of winter spells cosy layers and red Starbucks cups, it can just as easily equal a wardrobe disaster if you’re not armed with the right frostbite-preventing footwear.

You’ve already snapped up that super-cosy staple coat, statement knit and woolly tights for when the mini skirt has a mid-December outing, but a pair of winter boots – or, to put it in context, avalanche-proof winter boots – need to be at the top of your shopping list.

Boots to battle through snow, sleet and pond-sized puddles are your best bet, and we’re not talking frilly fashion versions, but sturdy boots with a solid grip and a view to help your feet get through the day without giving into frostbite, or worse still, giving you the ‘slip’ in the literal sense!

Worried sensible boots will cramp your style? Well, you do have all those festive parties in fabulous heels to look forward to, so, for now, stick with out top 10 avalanche-proof winter boots under £100, as the mercury drops miserably low. Your feet (and purse) will be glad you did.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
