Kate Upton covers British Vogue’s January 2013 issue!

6th December 2012 11:03 am

Former Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton has well and truly cemented her status as a fashion model now that she is on the front cover of British Vogue’s January 2013 issue. At least in our opinion, anyway!

Although this isn’t Kate’s first cover for the fashion Bible (she posed for Vogue Italia a few months ago) we think she might just be taken even more seriously in the fashion world with an Alexandra Shulman approved cover under her belt. We don’t even think she will have to cough up $20,000 for her next Met Gala ticket, either.

Fresh start is the theme of the magazine this month, and it couldn’t be more apparent on the cover. It’s clean, simple and fresh, and choosing Kate for the cover also shoehorns the fact that her career has gone in a totally new direction. We cannot wait for this to slide through our letter box!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
