Rachel Weisz donates some of her wardrobe to charity

20th December 2012 12:33 pm

We love a good selfless charity story, but it warms our hearts just that little bit more during the festive season.

Literal Bond girl Rachel Weisz, aka Mrs Daniel Craig, has got into the Christmas spirit of giving by donating some personal pieces from her own wardrobe to raise money for Dress for Success, an organisation which helps women find jobs by restoring their self confidence and providing them with appropriate interview clothes. Pretty neat, right?

Rachel isn’t the only famous face to take part though, as the likes of Sophie Dahl, Jasmine Guinness, Bay Garnett and Jade Parfitt have also opened their wardrobes for the cause.

The sale is hosted by Vestiaire Collective and will run from tomorrow until December 31st. Check it out – you might find something amazing to buy, and will be helping the brilliant cause at the same time. What’s not to love?!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
