5 lust-worthy pieces from John Lewis

It’s Friday, which means we have the whole weekend to tour our local high street and shop ‘til we drop – wahoo!

However, as it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday (yes this Sunday – don’t forget!), you might want to spend your weekend doing something more productive – or even something leisurely with Mum – which leaves hardly any time for window shopping.

Not to worry though, as the good old internet has stepped in once again and saved the day! Akin to the actual store, we can get lost on the John Lewis website for hours on end, as there are pages and pages of covetable items from clothes to shoes and in particular a great selection of Mischa Barton bags!

Lauren by Ralph Lauren Shawl Collar Cardigan, Capri Navy/White

We know the spring/summer season is fast approaching, but we shouldn’t lose sight of where we are on the globe… no cropped tops and cut-off shorts on a daily basis for us here in the UK. You can still totally wear your prettiest skater dress to upcoming events, but make sure you team it with a cute cardi to keep out the chill and add some colour, texture and pattern to the outfit. This striped beauty is a particular fave!

Hobbs Florrie Suede Bow Ballerina Pumps , Navy/white

Wave goodbye to winter boots and say hello to pretty pumps. You can still wear your trusty black jeans, leggings and skirts this season, but mix things up with some navy and white shoes to break the black. Plus the bow is too adorable for words! These beauties also come in the nude/white colour combo, but they’re not recommended for those unpredictable weather days. Be safe and stick with the navy!

Betty Barclay 5 Pocket Cropped Jeans, Limelight

This is what the impending sunshine is all about – be brave and inject a serious pop of colour into your outfit by way of some bright yellow cropped jeans. Team with cute wedges or comfy flats and you’re good to go!

MICHAEL Michael Kors Jet Set Chain Medium Tote Handbag, Vanilla

You didn’t think we’d leave a handbag off our lust list did you? If, like us, you’re after a big bag that you can throw all of your essentials into, then look no further than this Michael Michael Kors tote. The “vanilla” colour is very appropriate for the spring/summer season – although it also comes in navy blue and bright orange if aren’t brave enough for white or want to be adventurous (respectively). An MFL must-have!
