Looks like Loewe creative director Stuart Vevers is going out with one final bang before leaving the Spanish brand for American leather goods and accessories brand, Coach.

He joined forces with stunning sisters Monica and Penelope Cruz for a Loewe handbag collection – one which Penelope is also the face of as part of her three year contract with the Spanish brand.

“We wanted to do something special but also practical, and we wanted the design to have an unmistakable Spanish element,” Penelope Cruz said about the deigning process with her sister. “We usually like the same things. When we do the design meetings separately, we tend to choose the same materials and colours.”

Penelope was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott on the Casino de Madrid roof, which makes for a pretty impressive ad campaign background, don’t you think?
