Looks like Manolo Blahnik is handing the London Fashion Week designer reigns to another shoe guru…

Nicholas Kirkwood will be taking over the artwork and creative branding for the spring/summer 2014 season of London Fashion Week next month, and has even given the courtyard at Somerset House an interactive and reflective new make-over. Exciting stuff!

“It’s a great privilege to be able to team up with the BFC on this exciting project and apply my interpretation to the London Fashion Week campaign,” he said. “I’ve taken elements of my work and designed a pattern that I feel reflects the bold nature and energy of London Fashion Week.”

You can get a sneak peek at his signature geometric print above, but we’ll have to wait ‘til September 13th to see the whole thing. Not long to go!
