Today, we’re filled with mixed emotions; super excited for the second release from UNIQLO x LEMAIRE and a tad sad as there won’t be another collaboration in the foreseeable future between the high street store and the French designer. But, oh what a great partnership it’s been.
Previously the creative director of Hermès women’s wear, Christopher Lemaire’s eponymous label is known for it’s clean silhouettes and minimal designs hence why his aesthetic fits in so beautifully with what we’ve come to know and love Uniqlo for – stylish and versatile basics. The SS16 collection is no exception. Best of all, it’s unbelievably affordable.
The 35 piece womenswear line includes relaxed dresses ideal for summer barbecues, luxe tops and a selection of fluid off-duty trousers and skirts with most items available in mustard, off-white, black, navy, dark green & red.
We can’t wait to snap up our must-haves (see below) especially the on trend flared skirt that’ll be perfect for recreating our fave 70’s inspired looks (or 90’s for that matter) and a pair of cute cotton shorts that we’re definitely snapping up for our summer hols.
