One of my favourite things about autumn is the selection of jewelry. Away are the summer days of delicate, light pieces and onto our clunky, chunky favourites. Pairing any large sweater or blazer with stackable bracelets adds to life to any ensemble. Accessorizing correctly can really make an outfit shine and this season pull out all of your bangles and combine them to make the picture perfect accessory.
The beauty of stacking is that the bracelets don’t have to match.

Working in a male dominated society has had many implications on the ways in which women dress around the office. From the business suit to the work trousers, women for years have been changing their fashion selections to appease male bosses. While we have adopted many things from our male coworkers in terms of attire- now designers are infusing some of these aesthetics into our footwear, as well.

The world isn’t full of skinny, tall super models. In fact, I kind of think most of you are like me- a little on the shorter side and like many roads, somewhat curvy. My one sore spot, when it comes to fashion, is finding the perfect jeans - meaning jeans that will transcend me from year to year and from trend to trend. The search has been going on for many years and I have yet to find the perfect pair to match my curvy bod- until now.

There’s no need to call attention to the rapidly changing season, oh wait- I just did. Ladies all over the world are swapping out their fun, small summer sacks for heavier, heartier autumn frocks. I find in the autumn, when my clothing is more bulky and I’m constantly swapping out layers, my handbags tend to become more of a nuisance than a fashion item. The solution I’ve found comes in mustard and eggplant and fortunately is just the right price.

With all of the swirl around being green, it’s only natural (pun intended) for consumers to stock up on their summer green gear when the season comes to a close. Green has not only infiltrated our lives through legislation, energy crisis’ and food safety but our clothing and accessories are now following suit.

As we get closer to the beacon of autumn that is September, not only will our clothing choices becoming heavier - our accessories will too. Thats right ladies, this autumn brings with it heavy leather and, in particular, lots and lots of hardware.
