Jennifer Lopez is shelving her Sweetface clothing line indefinitely.

The 39-year-old singer-and-actress has decided to halt production of the line after the Spring 2009 range, which is available in stores at the moment, although it is expected to be relaunched in the future.

The company released a statement saying: “In light of new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view.”

The supermodel has signed a deal to be the spokeswoman for the Triple Nutrition Hair Care and Anti-Humidity hairsprays, which will be released at the end of this month.

Bar - who has appeared in previous campaigns for Garnier - said:

“I like Garnier and have been using their products for several years. Their products and ingredients fit my lifestyle perfectly - helping me keep my hair strong, healthy and shiny. Beth Ditto doesn’t care if Karl Lagerfeld likes her.

The Gossip singer - who recently designed her own range of clothes for British high street store Evans - met the fashion designer at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year and although they got on, Beth doesn’t count him as a friend.

She said: “Do I enjoy standing next to Karl Lagerfeld? Yes, that was totally surreal and f**king cool. What if, come tomorrow, he hates me? Well, I don’t really care because he’s not my friend. It’s not like a break-up. He’s just a person who makes dresses for me sometimes.”

Anne Hathaway has turned into a fashion stylist.

The 26-year-old actress insisted on lending Julie White, her co-star in New York play ‘Twelfth Night’, a dress from her own wardrobe for the recent Los Angeles premiere of Julie’s new movie ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’.

Julie told the New York Daily News: “I had my dress picked out for the premiere, and the night before Anne came in with kind of a wadded-up-looking black bag that you get from the deli. Inside of it was this gorgeous Marchesa dress. She’s like, ‘Julie, I think you should wear this.’ I’m not kidding. That’s how good a girl she is.”
Julie was delighted with Anne’s choice, adding she couldn’t have looked better at the event.

She said: “Anne was absolutely right. She has brilliant taste. It looks perfect!”

Jonathan Saunders is to show at London Fashion Week.

The Scottish designer is the latest in a string of top designers - including Burberry, Pringle and Matthew Williamson - to return to the British capital for the Spring/Summer 2010 shows in September to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its fashion week.

Jonathan said: “I am absolutely delighted to be returning to show in London this September. London is where I’m based. I have a studio here and it’s very close to my heart and I also have a lot of friends who show in London. Where you show is a combination of where you feel creative and where your business is.”

Nicky Hilton’s latest clothing range has been “inspired by Japan”.

The hotel heiress - who already has several fashion lines including Chick and Nicky Hilton Beverly Hills - says the country has given her lots of ideas, adding she can’t wait to launch her latest designs at September’s Tokyo Girls Collection.

She said: “I think I got inspired in Japan a lot. I am launching at Tokyo Girls Collection, which is in an arena with 24,000 people. I have been trying to wrap it up and get the samples set out.”

Nicky is looking forward to the show as it is completely different to anything she’s done before.

She told People magazine: “The girls, actually, as the models come down the runway, are shopping, buying clothes. It’s cool.”

Jo Wood is reportedly furious over her estranged husband Ronnie’s plans to launch a fashion line.

The Rolling Stones rocker announced last week he has teamed up with Liberty’s of London to design a range based on his concert attire, angering the former model - who started divorce proceedings last month - as she was planning her own similar venture.

A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “Jo was the one who designed Ronnie’s stage outfits. She was the creative brain behind that.

“I’m not sure Ronnie will be that au fait with the intricacies of fabrics and seams. It is a bit of a snub to Jo, especially as she has been wanting to launch her own range for some time - and Ronnie knows it.”

‘Sex and the City’ stylist Patricia Field thinks “MC Hammer” pants are this season’s ultimate fashion statement.

Patricia – who has styled stars in movies such as ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ – says the baggy trousers are the perfect way to stand out in a crowd.

She said: “MC Hammer pants are a good place to start if you want to stand out. Or pants with stirrups. I’d definitely recommend investing in some harem pants too. Other than that, make sure you tap into the hardwear trend with a good hair accessory or hat.”

Meanwhile, Patricia has branded ‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga and former Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham “style icons”.
