  • For a good cause: Margherita Missoni charity bracelet
Having seen countless photos of Margherita Missoni gallavanting around town of late, it’s nice to read a little more about her. Even better, it’s good to see her continue her design lineage with this pretty rose gold, silk and diamond bracelet which she has designed with jewelry designer Ileana Makri.

  • Incognito Style: Eugenia Kim Muffy Hat
Having a cool hat to polish off a look is key to celeb style. Actually, perhaps it’s a combination of fashion and function (ie, paparazzi shielding) that make them so popular in Hollywood. In any case, every girl should have a couple of cute hats on deck to help counteract bad hair days and to accent her wardrobe. Eugenia Kim, hat designer extraordinaire, has been...

  • Cute Luggage: Stella McCartney & LeSportSac
Speaking of being eco-friendly and wanting to have cute luggage to tote around this summer, I’m really digging the Stella McCartney Le Sportsac Limited Edition Travel Collection that recently became available for Spring/Summer 08.

  • Summer Buys: Doo.ri Twill Shrug
I have been looking for some alternatives to lightweight jackets or wrap-around scarves for some of my Spring and Summer night looks and just came across this twill pleated shrug by doo.ri. I love the simple yet modern look and artistic detailing with soft, origami-esque pleating on the neckline and loose draping at the back.

  • Fashion Flop: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Dr. Q Groovee Quilted Patchwork
There is a lot to be said for shopping online; it is quick, convenient, you can indulge in retail therapy at 3am when you can’t sleep, and there is the added gratification of knowing that a nice present is on its way to you in the mail. That said, there is only so much you can know about a dress, a pair of shoes or even a bag just by looking at it.

  • Money Crunch: Gryson for Target
Economic crisis: it’s been everywhere lately, affecting prices at petrol stations and at grocery stores. All of this means that we have to take money from our rainy-day funds and put them towards the things we need to actually survive (like dinner). And I hate to sound completely materialistic, but sometimes a girl just wants something pretty but it’s not...

  • Shopping: DVF Indochine Scarf
I’m a big fan of light-weight scarves for Spring. They’re perfect for throwing on when there’s a slight chill in the air or once you hit the blaring A/C of certain department stores…and personally, if my neck is covered (even with bare arms), my body temp warms up a couple of ticks. I also love how easily you can use them to dress up an outfit (think cotton tank...

  • Bag alert: Patent Francine by Coach
The name Coach may not fly off everyone’s tongue as pre-eminent handbag designers, but I’m a big fan of their merchandise (especially their planners and sunglasses). They also have very lovely window displays in their Manhattan shops, so I always try and walk by for a look-see every few weeks so I know what’s current.

  • Coffee Couture: From the Runways to our Cups?
If everything we choose to wear and carry as we leave the house is perfectly coordinated and chic, then shouldn’t our daily coffee cup fit that picture also? Cup Couture offers a variety of eco-friendly, reusable cupcoats for our hot beverages.
