Given that Earth Day was yesterday, we figured it would be appropriate to browse some “green” products. But, if you actually take the time to look online for alternatives to your otherwise synthetic-filled closet, you’ll find that there’s some great options that are stylish and more importantly, eco-friendly.

A girl’s gotta get dolled up sometimes. When most of my days are spent in jeans, tees and other casual gear, getting cleaned up and pretty for a night out never seems to get dull.
Sadly, I haven’t had more than a couple of occasions to get glammed up for in what seems like ages, but it can’t hurt to have a well-equipped closet (just in case the opportunity arises).

Every summer I go on a hunt for a couple of great strapless dresses, they’re comfy, stylish and are perfect holiday companions.
Last year, H&M had a decent selection, but after hearing lots of great things about American Apparels tube dresses I decided to finally check them out for myself (and I have to admit I’m glad I did).

Sooo I love spring just as much as anyone, but it’s not just for the sunshine and the flowers. I use it to shop for some of my winter-wear for when the chilly weather comes around again. I’m sure you’ve seen the African prints on the runways for SS’08, you only have to look to Christopher Kane and Donna Karen to see where the look of the season is going, and now H&M have launched a new ethnic-inspired collection to make it just a little easier for us.

Young celebs have been spotted around town baring their backs in cut out or back-strap frocks recently. Something about the allusion to undergarments makes the look daring and very sexy.
If you’re ready to give this trend a try and aren’t afraid to show a little skin, then this Black Halo Cut-Out Back Shift Dress – recently donned by The Hills star, Audrina Patridge – would be a fabulous option for you.

I basically live in tank tops in the summer. Because of this, I have to replenish my supply every year (I tend to wear them down pretty good and then they enter my gym wear rotation).
My go-to places for affordable basic solid tanks where I can grab a few in different colours without having to spend too much and that I can just throw on and layer are Urban Outfitters and Target.
