Just when we thought she had fallen off the fashion radar, styling it up big time for the opening of her new flick, Iron Man, Gwyneth Paltrow has never looked more glamorous. This A-list actress has been laying low over the past couple of years, being more mum than movie star, but in recent days, its clear that this once “it” girl has still got it in her.

When Gossip Girl first launched, Blake Lively launched to the front of fashion headlines, often ahead of co-star Leighton Meester.
However, Leighton has been stepping up her game lately and getting a lot more fashion attention. She looks lovely in lemon yellow at a recent event in Hollywood with costars Blake and Taylor Momsen (), and she ups the ante with some serious big-city style in this ensemble from Missoni.

Way to go, Norah! This lovely songstress has flown under the fashion radar for quite a few years, although she is gorgeous and always elegantly dressed.
She had definitely flown under my radar, anyway, until I saw her lovely new pixie haircut. I’m always envious of girls who can pull off a pixie cut because my curls would turn into a poufy mess if I cut my hair higher than my shoulders.

Eek! Even though we love Madonna and will always think of her as “untouchable,” we couldn’t help but cringe at her chosen red carpet look for her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
There are almost too many offenses to mention: like the snug leather thigh high boots, the unflattering sheer fabric over peek-a-boo lingerie, and the overly severe white contrasting trim of the dress that makes the pop queen look like she’s headed to a ‘Star Trek’ convention (rather than an award ceremony recognizing her as a legendary artist).
Not exactly a flattering or age-appropriate look for a 40-something mum, no matter how firm the pilates body.
Definitely not her first or worst faux pas over her 20 plus year career thus far, but one that makes us wonder when the Material Girl will finally stow away her corset and panties from public view for the last time!

So simple, yet so stunning. Anne Hathway wears a floor skimming gown from Oscar de la Renta pre-fall 2008, to the Human Rights Gala dinner held in L.A.

Personally I can’t say I’m the greatest fan of Amy Winehouse’s style. She’s adopted the sultry, signature look of the sixties and somehow made it grimey. Am I in the minority? Judging from the video above in which Suzy Menkes analyses Amy’s look, I might possibly be. Karl Lagerfeld is a fan of the star, and the catwalks have undoubtedly been awash with “big hair and dark eyes.” But honestly I’m baffled by her appeal. Please tell me…do you think Amy Winehouse is a style icon at all?

Note to Calvin Klein: If by any chance you’re searching for another location to erect your sky high ad campaign of Djimon Hounsou, may we suggest London!
