Fashion rocked on Thursday night, kicking off NY fashion week in style. Elton John was the host for the ultra glam, star studded event held in New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Beyoncé, The Scissor Sisters, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera and more took to the stage. Check out footage from Elton John’s Fashion Rocks Pre-party tomorrow at AT&T Blue Room!

Is the Catwalk dying?

The demise of the catwalk is a reflection of its increasingly flimsy role in the industry. The Italian design duo Dolce & Gabbana recently told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that their catwalk shows were just for fun, and served little purpose in selling clothes.
