Awakening the designer within, ex-songstress Lily Allen has jumped on the sartorial bandwagon and is set to launch a clothing line under her Lucy in Disguise label that she shares with sibling Sarah Owen. Thandie Newton launches British Designers Collective at Bicester Village:

Officially opened to the public on 31st March, the British Fashion Council’s second British Designers Collective launched at Bicester Village this week. Hosted by British beauty Thandie Newton, the BDC pop-up shop helps support London’s upcoming fashion scene, by allowing young British designers to showcase previous seasons’ collections complete with a lower price tag. Today, Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha has launched a brand new website archiving her entire seven year modeling career to date, where die-hard fans can sift through almost 10,000 images of Coco throughout her catwalk journey – including some never before seen backstage shots.

Coco already boasts a 70,000 strong following on Twitter, a widely followed personal blog, (oh-so-coco.tumblr.com) and a massive 37,000 fans on her Facebook – so she’s no stranger when it comes to an impressive online presence.

The site was created by her artist husband James Conran, who scoured the internet and brought together this impressive visual collection for one central archive – with images from Coco’s first runway show in New York as a shy 15-year-old at Miguel Androver, to her most recent Jean Paul Gaultier show in Paris this month – every single one of her 305 runway shows are now archived under one roof!

Cocorocha.com also holds Coco’s 72 magazine covers and countless editorial features – from her 2006 breakthrough piece with Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue, to her latest work with the Telegraph out this month – this website masterpiece has literally got it all.

And as if all that wasn’t enough, Coco and Conran also bring together their new and growing collection of 44 exclusive backstage and behind-the-scenes videos of Ms. Rocha in action.

Coca-Cola light has been the favourite tipple of Karl Lagerfeld’s since way back in 2001, where he famously credited his large weight loss to the fizzy pop. Fast forward nine or so years, and he’s designed his own limited edition bottle for the brand.

Hardly surprisingly, really, seeing as though nothing gets past the fashionable force – not even a 250,000 Euro safe (remember that?).

Perfectly combed coif in place, Karl’s slick suited-and-booted silhouette will be strewn across a limited number of Coca-Cola Light bottles, alongside his sought-after signature, which will be sold at high end Parisian boutiques Colette and Galeries Lafayette, Handbag.com reveals.

If you want to get your hands on the collectable coke, though, be prepared to pay 47 Euros – for that you’ll get a boxed bottle and matching bottle opener. He’s such a spoiler.

Naturally, there’s an ad campaign to promote the collaboration too, which features Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giacobini, who plays a Coca-Cola butler much like the one Karl’s been known to hire.

As a model’s luck would have it, walking designers’ shows offers more than publicity and a pay-packet. In Coco Rocha’s case, walking the runway for Zac Posen’s AW10 show has led to him designing her wedding dress.

After announcing that her wedding is taking place in three months, Coco Rocha’s plans for her big day are well under way, but though she’s hinted that she knew who’s designing her dress, she’s spilt no beans.

That was until yesterday, when the model got so excited she just couldn’t keep it in. “Mr. Zac Posen is the best!” she tweeted. “I met with him to discuss wedding dress designs and immediately sketches were flying… So exciting!!” Ah, the wonders of social networking.

So now that our designer-speculation has been short-lived, we’ll ponder instead about what it’ll look like. Big is our only guess so far.

Young waif-like models may have reigned supreme in recent seasons, but Louis Vuitton are embracing curves for A/W10 , and the French fashion house hired a handful of voluptuous supers to prove it.

Elle Macpherson, Laetitia Casta and newly-engaged Lara Stone were among the models to hit the runway showcasing their curves in Marc Jacobs’ sexy autumn offerings, which included corsets and halter-neck dresses for the womanly woman.

“Designers are always saying they’re going to do a collection for women, but then every girl on the runway is under twenty, claimed Marc, who may or may not have presented one of the most wearable collections yet.

“I wanted a variety of ages and sizes. We set out to cast gorgeous women, women who feel happy to put their make-up on, get dressed up, get all their accessories, he told the Telegraph, adding, “it’s a bit old-fashioned, I know, but I think it’s nice for a change.

And change for next season, if Marc’s latest offering for Louis Vuitton is anything to go by, comes in the form of mid-calf length skirts, as he single-handedly brings back the midi-skirt.

Take note from Elle Macpherson, who led the finale in a mid-calf rose coset dress with a draped train, if you need convincing.

She’s only just excitedly announced her engagement, but fast-forward one week and Coco Rocha‘s wedding plans are already well under way. And they ought to be, because the big day is in three months.

After accepting her engagement ring from James Conran last week, this is one model who has no plans to wait in the aisle. The date’s set, the location chosen and the dress , though not yet made , is done.

“I’m getting married in three months,” Coco told the Daily backstage at Dior last week. “I can’t believe it actually, but I’m so excited.”

And fashion week, it would seem, isn’t the only reason she’s in Paris. “We’re getting married right here in France, she revealed. “ A friend has this beautiful house here so we’ll bring everyone here!”

Which brings us, of course, to the dress. “I know exactly what’s it going to look like and who’s making it, but it hasn’t actually been produced yet, she said, careful not to give away too much. “But the time is ticking!”

Oh, tease us why don’t you. Let the speculation begin.
