and Stella McCartney have announced the extension of their sport performance collection with the a³ Flyride running shoe, due to launch in stores in May this year. Aside from being lighter, softer and flexible, the a³ Flyride’s unique selling point is its key cushioning technology. The running shoe features the lightest heel-to-toe a3 cushioning system for women, additional benefits include breathability and sweat absorbing/anti odor treatments in the insole.

This month sees the launch of the Alexander McQueen and Puma collaboration. McQueen, a self confessed sports shoe lover has designed a sleek and stylish collection of trainers for both men and women ready to be launched in 200 to 250 stores worldwide including McQueen’s flagships in London, New York and Milan.

Fashion king Karl Lagerfeld is a mega-hit for the masses from Manhattan to Milan. Throngs of style seekers stormed H&M stores around the world yesterday to scoop up the first moderately-priced collection from the world famous Chanel designer.
By the end of the day, the Karl Lagerfeld for H&M line sold out at the chain’s seven Manhattan stores and across the Atlantic in cities from London to Milan, Munich to Stockholm.

German sports goods maker Adidas-Salomon launched a sportswear collection with designer Stella McCartney on Wednesday, expecting to boost sales by at least 10 million euros ($12 million) next year.
The top British fashion designer will design running, swimming and fitness sportswear for women, bring out two collections per year, Adidas said in a statement.

Matthew Williamson will be designing a bottle for Coca Cola. Not only was I happy to read this because I think Matthew Williamson deserves the international recoginition but also because I think its such an original idea. I have never heard of a fashion designer creating a bottle for a soft drink. Can’t wait to see the outcome.
So now not only do we have access to fashionable clothing but also fashionable bottles!!!
