Mouret’s collection for Gap
Roland Mouret, has announced that he will be designing a capsule collection for Gap. Available in November and consisting of just 10 dresses, Mouret confirmed that 3 styles will be sold as part of the Gap collaboration with Join Red organisation.
Mouret said of the venture,
“Gap has given me the opportunity to transalate my ideas in a more casual sensibility and raise funds that will target the Aids pandemic in Africa.”

Joss Stone Gap
Just a couple of months after Joss Stone was celebrating her Gap deal and SJP was mourning her loss, it appears that Joss has lost the contract.
Gap have had to let go of the soul singer amidst reports that the now 18yr old but then 17yr old moved in with her 25yr old boyfriend Beau Dozier and was still below the age of consent under Californian law. Although Gap and Stone had started work on the ad, Gap had to halt procedures for fear that Joss’ boyfriend Dozier, son of Motown hitmaker Lamont Dozier could be guilty of statutory rape.
Gap will now be hiring the services of Christian singer Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child (pictured below).

Gap joins with Inter parfum
Building on the Gap brand, clothing retailer Gap Inc has sealed a partnership with Inter Parfums to design, make and package a line of personal care products. This will be an expansion of its current range of perfime and will be sold in select boutiques and retail outlets.
