  • Beauty road test: Kerastase‘s Noctogenist Serum Nuit
Everyone’s heard of night creams; lotions and potions applied overnight designed to leave skin feeing rejuvenated and replenished the morning after. Well, now there are overnight treatments for your hair too. Not one for nightime skin creams, I was somewhat sceptical about trying Kerastase‘s Noctogenist Serum Nuit: “the first tailored overnight treatment for...

  • Beauty road test: Tigi Catwalk Fast-Fixx Leave In-Conditioner Spray
At some point, every single one of us needs a magic wand hair product to fix a hair emergency. For me it starts when I pull my head from the pillow, finally turn off the alarm that has been on snooze for 40 minutes, rub the sleep from my eyes and confront the mirror. Until now I thought the only solution was a good hat. So when this Tigi Catwalk Fast-Fix styling mist...

  • How to boost your ego!
I’m not going to lie, when it comes to hair products I don’t tend to experiment much. Although maybe this is because I once stumbled across gold with Tigi’s Bed Head, and didn’t need to venture elsewhere. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Bed Head, but I hadn’t before come across ‘Ego Boost’, the split end mender/leave...

  • Tried and Tested: Kerastase Nutritive Masquintense.
I must begin by making a beauty-related confession…..to counter-balance my penchant for expensive make-up I usually opt for budget-friendly hair products (and by that I mean bog standard, supermarket-brand shampoo and conditioner). For this reason I was very much looking forward to treating my poor neglected locks to a dose of Kerastase masquintense; a nourishing cream...

  • Tigi Catwalk Camera Ready Shiner and Defrizzer
I wanted this product to be amazing, like most of the other Tigi products I’ve tried. Anyone with naturally curly hair will understand the elation four little words, Bed Head Curls Rock, can bring. But sadly this time, Tigi’s Catwalk Camera Ready Shiner and Defrizzer, just didn’t quite do it.

  • Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Spa Rescue treatment
This particular treatment comes from super-brand Charles Worthington’s ‘intensive’ range which is specifically designed for hair restoration and deep nourishment. As a ‘rescue treatment’ it is designed to re-vitalise damaged hair, (which lets face it, after the arctic blasts we’ve been experiencing probably applies to most of us).

  • Charles Worthington Hair Healer Leave-in Conditioner
I usually shy away from the Charles Worthington super-brand, having come to the admittedly unsubstantiated conclusion that I’m probably paying for the name rather than the product. After road-testing this leave-in-conditioner, I am now officially a convert.
