  • Temperley London Golden Apple Bag
We’ve seen our fair share of bizarrely shaped bags adorning the arms of celebrities of late. SJP started the ball rolling with her Timmy Woods Eiffel Tower bag in the Sex and the City movie. Then, last month Lily Allen stepped out with a rather ingenious Russian doll bag by Chanel. But hide the credit card cards girls, for I have found the fairest of them all. Alice...

  • Sustainable fashion that lasts!
Along with fine wine and George Clooney, leather only gets better with age. You can’t beat the feel of a much loved leather jacket or handbag which is why we’ve fallen head over heels for label, Ashley Watson.

  • Botkier Studio Clutch
It’s weird. I love bags and I’ll be the first to admit that I have an unhealthy obsession. But my ratio of shoulder bags to clutches is oddly disproportionate. I only ever come to this conclusion when I’m dressed to impressed, on my way out and stressed beyond belief because I can’t find a clutch to match my outfit for the evening. I always promise myself that...

  • See by Chloé Soft Strap Bucket Bag
With news that Chanel is to lay off 200 members of staff hammering home the fact that we are in fact going through a global recession, (no matter how hard we try and hide from the whole mess), it’s time to ask what does it really mean to be a recessionista? Is it to:

  • Paul Smith’s credit crunch bag!
We know we probably shouldn’t poke fun at the credit crunch, but it seems us fashion lovers are in a delightfully ignorant little place called denial. I certainly am anyway. What’s this? We need to spend our way out of this financial crisis? Well OK then, if you insist.

  • Wearing rubbish has never been such a great idea!
We all like to think we do our best for the environment; cans in one recycling bin, bottles in another, old clothes in - well, actually, I’ll keep the clothes thanks. However as far as I’m aware, those pesky juice cartons have nowhere to go, except for the back of beyond, in… the RUBBISH BIN. Or so I thought.

  • UGG I love your shoes, just not your bags!
UGG Australia emerged on the fashion scene in the form of comfortable boots. Originally intended for Australian surfers, UGGs graced the feet of most females as the ideal errand-running shoe of choice. Pick up a celeb mag and you’re bound to find many celebs parading in their UGGS. This “shoe take-over” really worked for the company and the shoes have exponentially...

  • Grab a Designer Bag at Celebrity Handbag Auction
How many bags do you own? Apparently one in ten women in the UK own up to 20 bags and 28% of women would rather have a new designer handbag then a romantic weekend away. Being bag lovers here at My Fashion Life, we can easily believe those stats!

  • The Karl Lagerfeld Mask Bag: The It Bag for Spring Summer 2009
The icon that is Karl Lagerfeld has created what will be one of the most sought after bags next season, and he didn’t even have to try that hard.

  • Mischa Barton Bag: Accidentally Tried and Tested
Here at My Fashion Life, we have (more than once) expressed our dismay towards celebrity fashion labels. In fact, one OC related launch in particular drew a bitter response little more than one month ago… (Read here) So imagine my predicament when I actually get bought a new bag from the Mischa Barton range. Of course, I wasn’t about to refuse this gift but neither...
