Apart from the famous September issue, the March issue is the second most important one of the year, which is why securing the right cover star is crucial for any magazine. We think that Georgia May Jagger definitely meets the criteria required and believe she is a fine choice for the Harper’s Bazaar March issue, which was shot by Alexi Lubomirski on Miami’s stunning Biscayne Bay. 

We’re quite surprised that this is Georgia’s first cover for the UK version of the magazine, given her vast modelling experience as the face of Hudson Jeans, Rimmel and H&M – but then we do sometimes forget that she is a mere 20 years old.

What’s great about the editorial is the fact that the interview was conducted by Georgia’s legendary mother, Jerry Hall. Aww, how sweet is that?

We are all over Georgia’s metallic getup (definitely one of our favourite trends of the season) but can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us within the editorial.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may have the word ‘actress’ on her CV now, but she is still a model at heart, with her pictures from the Harper’s Bazaar UK January issue proving that she is first and foremost a top model.

It’s not just Rosie’s bouncy, voluminous Hollywood pinup hair and sexy pout that unleashes every girl’s inner green eyed monster; it’s also her phenomenal body – which Harper’s Bazaar clearly references on the front cover. Burberry chose Rosie as the face of its new Burberry Body fragrance for a reason and we aren’t struggling to see why.

Somewhat depressingly, January issues have a very prominent ‘dieting/body’ theme due to everyone wanting to detox after over-indulging during the Christmas period, and if there is one person to motivate you into working out and eating well, it’s Rosie.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel (and Transformers 3 actress) was photographed by Madonna fave Tom Munro, and is seen wearing a stunning, extremely daring Burberry dress on one cover and a black and gold Michael Kors swimsuit on the other.

Inside the new August 2011 edition of Harper’s Bazaar, acting beauty Emma Watson reveals all about her inner most fears and phobias – especially when it comes to the Hollywood scene.

During her time spent studying acting, Watson found one emotion particularly harder to act out than the rest.

“My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, “I can’t do it, I just can’t do it,” explains Watson.

“I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all.”

And she doesn’t really favour the Hollywood lifestyle scene, either, reports ONTD.

“LA scares the crap out of me,” said Emma. “I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.”

In the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, screen siren Scarlett Johansson talks about her off-duty work in Africa (with U2′s Bono), and her passion to change others’ lives for the better. Oh, and of course, she looks gut-wrenchingly gorgeous.

“You do gain a certain perspective when you see how people get by with so little and how they’re just happy to have simple things like a well with clean water nearby, said Scarlett, who’s the latest face of Mango. “I felt lucky just to live somewhere that has running water. Suddenly a toilet seems such a luxury. It’s miraculous! You really are thankful for the small things.

Photographed by Alexi Lubomirski, the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK sees Scarlett dressed up in (Product) RED clothes and accessories , including special edition jewellery by Solange Azagury Partridge , Dolce and Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent and Oscar de la Renta, and dressed down in T-shirts by Gap and Converse trainers.

Please tell us someone else sees the irony behind this, it’s enough to put a little smirk on our faces this morning, anyway.

But credit to the actress and all-round gorgeous girl; when she’s not clad in designer gear that costs more than our lives are worth, Scarlett has been visiting Africa with U2 frontman Bono to help raise awareness of the less-advantaged.
