Some months ago we posted about Nina Garcia’s design contest with Step Up Women’s Network, and Bayer HealthCare to give the birth control case a makeover. We can reveal that the results are in and the winner has been announced!

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Nina Garcia here at My Fashion Life. Both her books The Little Black Book of Style and The One Hundred sit on our bookshelf, slightly battered and worn from us constantly flicking through and in our humble opinion Project Runway wouldn’t be the same without her!

2008 has been a great year so far for fashion related books, we’ve had Bringing Home the Birkin (which I love, love love! If you’ve haven’t read it yet you must), Hadley Freeman gave us a good laugh with “The Meaning of Sunglasses” and the ladies over at Go Fug Yourself dished out awards to their hit list of fugly celebrities.
