Half of Hollywood has gone Anna Wintour on us, chopping off their lovely locks for the latest “it” do. Now that Mrs. Cruise is rockin’ the look, the buzz is starting to rival Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Rachel’ coiffe circa mid-90’s! You have to admit that you’ve been slowly working up the nerve to “Posh it out” too like the rest of us.

If you’re a bit scissor shy, like me, why not do what the other half of our favorite celebs are great at doing. Fake it! If you’re itching to test out going short without the commitment, extensions might be the way to go. Just go to your favorite stylist and ask for a clip, tuck, and cut and you’ll be swingin’ your cropped hair with the “in” crowd in no time. Where do you stand?

It’s no secret that Stella McCartney is, to put it mildly, less than fond of her father’s ex-wife Heather Mills. According to the New York Post, the young designer has slighted Mills in the past by offering her a meager 10% discount on clothing and by refusing to donate perfume bottles for Mills’s charity work with Adopt-A-Minefield.

But past insults pale in comparison to McCartney’s latest attack – for her new jewelry line, the designer has reportedly created a silver pendant featuring a single leg.

Polls: Chanel Rainbow Pump?

What girl doesn’t love Chanel? Classic and sophisticated, yet stylish, you usually can’t go wrong…or so we thought. For Spring ’08, Chanel introduced its platform patent-leather Rainbow Pump. With colourful stacked “Rubik’s Cube–esque” heels and soles, the shoe reminds us of Rainbow Brite. We understand that women need to embrace bright colours in their wardrobes from time to time, but is it really necessary to embrace so many in so little time? Although something Chanel will always be on the wish list, we think its best to go ahead and save that small fortune for an item that reminds us a tad less of our favourite childhood sprite. What do you think?

Forget the celebs that are using Halloween as an opportunity to party hard in barely there outfits. Instead they should take a leaf out of Cavalli’s book and be innovative! Last night at his Halloween party at Ciprani’s NY, Cavalli showed he had a sense of humour and attended as Karl Lagerfeld. Hilarious! I’d love to know what Lagerfeld made of his choice in costume…..What do you reckon? Great idea or bad decision?

Remember back in 2004 when it was Karl Lagerfeld for H&M? At the time the concept was almost revolutionary and many a fashionista went crazy for the idea of combining high and low fashion. Although afterwards Lagerfeld accused H&M of snobbery due to the fact that the Swedish retailer only created limited quantities of the collection that hasn’t stopped other designers from following in his footsteps and we’ve since seen Stella McCartney and Viktor & Rolf create successful lines for the high street store.

And so we wait with baited breath for Roberto Cavalli at H&M and boy have they teased us with leaked pictures and sneak previews. But to date which designer collaboration do you think has been H&M’s best so far?

If we’re to believe everything we read then model Irina Lazareanu is well and truly engaged to the infamous Pete Doherty…well according to WWD. Apparently Irina was spotted during fashion week wearing an engagement ring and has openly admitted that she is in fact engaged. It just seems a bit sudden doesn’t it?

Well…I suppose they’ve known each other for 10 years which should at least make for a great friendship and isn’t that supposed to be the basis of a good marriage? What do we think? Approve or disapprove?

Should Irina and Pete get hitched?

For Spring/Summer 08 both Marc Jacobs and Miuccia Prada took footwear to a whole new surreal level! Jacobs experimented with all things backwards and attempted to defy gravity, thus moving the heel to rest underneath the balls our feet while Prada on the otherhand gave us something to think about with weird and wonderful, chunky suede platforms. But who do you think did it best?

Who did surreal footwear best?
