Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is back, and it’s got with it a few fashionable faces for this year’s campaign.

Cat Deeley, Sadie Frost and Karen Gillan have teamed up with FTBC on a series of mini videos explaining what fashion means to them in a bid to support this year’s initiative and raise over £1 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

But they need your help – and there are plenty of ways you can do it.

From T-shirts to jewellery, eight feel-good fashion pieces have been designed exclusively by some of our favourite retailers, including Topshop and my-wardrobe, in aid of this pioneering charity, and with prices ranging from £1.50 – £150, you can wear your support in style no matter what your budget.

“Fashion Targets Breast Cancer is about so much more than the clothes you wear,” says Dr Who actress Karen Gillan. “Fashion is giving you the power to make a difference to the lives of 48,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.”

But it’s not the only way you can get involved. This Friday, 15th April, is being declared Fashion Friday, and FTBC want you to share your stories of fashion. Last night, us MFL girls were lucky enough to head to the Ray-Ban party in celebration of the iconic aviator at London’s Scala and we were reminded just how effortlessly stylish and timeless these sunglasses really are.

Displayed in glass cases and on the heads of many a minor celeb, the aviator was the star of the show. Although we’re not normally advocates of the ‘wearing sunglasses indoors’ movement, last night the Top Gun style shades were out in force as attendees (including Peaches Geldof, Jaime Winstone and Sadie Frost) bopped along to the likes of The Big Pink and New York Dolls and, well, it did seem kind of appropriate.

The ultimate party girl turned 35 on Friday and what does any self-respecting supermodel do to celebrate? Well, have a four-day party of course!

After a nine hour drinking session with boyfriend, Jamie Hince and her mother at China Tang restaurant at The Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair. Where they dined on dim sum and Cristal champagne, it was time to prepare for the main event.

A medieval themed party was planned at Kate’s £8 million home, it was here the first drama took place when a worker fell ill and was taken to hospital by paramedics. But the show must go on and medieval furniture, deer and moose’s heads were just part of the decor. A pig on a spit took centre stage, not sure what vegetarian guest Stella McCartney made of it. Other guests included Sadie Frost, Davinia Taylor and Rhys Ifans.

Guests danced the night away to 80s hits, well until the police turned up asking for the music to be turned down. But the party did not stop, even when a second outing from the police took place. The festivities continued until 7am, much to Kate’s neighbour’s disapproval.

Kate certainly shows no signs of slowing, and we wouldn’t want it any other way!

Just as Kate thought she would make it through the storm that is her life right now, H&M Europe�s largest clothing chain, have confirmed they will not be standing by the model as previously claimed. The high street chain has dropped Kate as the face of Stella McCartney’s new line due to be launched on the 10th of November.

Although the model expressed her deep regret and claimed she had dumped Doherty (again), it appears H&M just couldn’t continue its work with her and in a statement the chain said

“H&M will cancel the planned advertising campaign with model Kate Moss.

“H&M is strongly against drugs and for many years has actively supported the drug preventing organisation Mentor Foundation.

“After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M’s clear dissociation of drugs.”

Meanwhile amidst further rumours that Kate seduced her PA Rebecca White, and dabbled in lesbian threesomes with Sadie Frost and Davinia Taylor, friends and fashion industry insiders such as Julien MacDonald and Head of the British Fashion Council John Wilson have spoken out in support of the model. According to Channel4 British artist Tracy Emin also commented about all the allegations flying around,

“I just think leave Kate alone, she’s fantastic. She hasn’t done anything wrong to anybody.

“If she dabbles in stuff and she’s a bit of a party person then that’s her business. It doesn’t interfere with her work or looks. Leave Kate alone.”
