Its the year of the stud! Not the manly kind but the silver, sharp kind. From belts and bags (check SJP in the sex and the city movie) to footwear. Considering the S&M vibe has lingered for quite a while in mainstream fashion we’re surprised that the beloved studded heel only really made it into the spotlight this season.

Economic hard times, say what? If you hadn’t noticed, the news abounds with negative information about the economy. But on the bright side (and I’m not trying to be flip), lots of our favourite retailers are having ginormous sales a bit earlier in the season than usual, giving us the chance to pick up a lot of fabulous merch at a discount!
