This See by Chloe Tea suede fringed bag is quite the little number for this season. With its mass of fringing and natural colouring, this is the perfect cross-body bag for creating that Seventies look.

With its cute, compact size and adorable shape, it’s got the form of the essential drawstring bag with the modernism of a magnetic snap closure. Basically, I’m in love. Its small size will also provide us with a lesson in how to pack light (something I have no concept of), as it’s only going to be the essentials that will fit in its adorable suede folds.

This versatile piece is just the kind of bag I’m forever on the hunt for. It’ll work with everything and anything in my wardrobe, and I can’t wait to team it with my new white blazer and turned-up jeans. At £280, I’d be willing to hand the cash over.

These slick, buckle-up ankle boots are just calling for some black, skinny drainpipes and if not those then the tailored cigarette pants of next season’s androgynous trend. See by Chloe has once again targeted the trends and made an ankle-boot that is not only practical (I’m thinking that even I could walk in those heels), but contemporary. For me, it also provides a hint of the label’s Parisian roots, with their stylish simplicity and effortlessly chic feel.

If these really work it for you, then make the investment, as they will be an investment in terms of next season. This coming A/W’11 we’ll be seeing a lot of buttons and buckles. We’ll be strapping up our Mary-Janes, buckling our stylish T-Bars and leaning back on sturdy, wearable, day-time heels.

Chloe’s Black Solfo Platform Suede Buckle Ankle Boot fit the bill, pretty much down to a T (not a T-Bar). With their curving seam and luxe suede texture they will also prove themselves trend-worthy for texture play looks and for teaming with your crotched dress or tunic.

Aesthetically, these are a little on the clumpy side for my tastes – I’m much more of a pointed stiletto wearer, than a sturdy heel walker (this may be the reason why I fall over so much). As far as feminine goes, Chloe has always been the go-to designer, and its spin-off sister, See by Chloe, has had just as much success for those of us that can’t afford ultra high-end price tags.

This See by Chloe chiffon jersey dress perfectly epitomises the label for me. It’s chic and girly but laid back and breezy at the same time.

French labels just have that air of insouciance us Brits can’t emulate. The peachy pink chiffon material is contrasted elegantly with thick black grosgrain shoulder straps, whilst the black bow at the front pulls the dress together and makes sure the focus on the waist. Oh la la indeed.

The warm colour of the garment means it ideally suits browns and tans – think chunky tan sandals and a dark brown mock-croc tote. Smart enough for weddings and suitable for a chic city break, See by Chloe, we salute you.
