Lindsay Lohan is apparently in talks with Lifetime to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in a made-for-TV movie about the Hollywood icon’s life. 

If what we read on The Hollywood Reporter is true, it wouldn’t be the first time Li-Lo will have channelled one of the true modern greats, as Lindsay recently posed as the legendary Marilyn Monroe for that highly anticipated and much talked about Playboy cover. 

As the name suggests, Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story will chronicle the on/off romance between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and is slated for release sometime this year.

We hope this rumour is true, as we’d love to see Lindsay hit the headlines for her films rather than her tumultuous private life.

And we have one more question… if Lindsay is playing Elizabeth Taylor, which Hollywood hottie is going to step into Richard Burton’s shoes?

The last time we spoke to Louise Roe was back in 2008 when, unbeknownst to her, she was eyeing up TV jobs in America that would become her biggest career move to date.

But that was three years ago – now, she’s a regular on the fashion circuit in the US, after hosting countless TV shows and appearing on endless others.

To celebrate the lifestyle brand’s ProPoints plan (the most successful to date in its 15-year history), Louise has shared some of her best-kept style secrets to help women look and feel fabulous no matter what their shape and size.

We caught up with her at the press launch yesterday to find out more about the collaboration, her top style tips for the season and who, out of Britain and LA, has the best style…

Not content with her amazing fashion legacy and labels galore, Dame Vivienne Westwood is set to branch out into the world of television, and is currently campaigning to create her own chat show series with the public, no less.

“It would be called Get A Life – and it’s on two levels, get a life for future generations but also what are you doing right now with your own life? If we are an endangered species it is your duty to do something about it and get the most out of it,” says Vivienne.

The 70-year-old designer, who showed her AW11 Red Label collection on Sunday, is so far struggling to get the show aired – a disgrace, we know (do these producers not understand what they’re making us miss out on?).

“I’m still trying and I might get it on one day – but no one is terribly interested in this fact that we are an endangered species, it doesn’t seem to matter, nobody cares,” she explains to Vogue UK.

“People don’t know what they can do, and I am trying to find out what people really can do and what we can all do. I read an interview with James Lovelock whose prediction said that there will only be one billion people left at the end of the century which is so scary and no one is really doing anything about it.”

There seems to be no stopping Victoria Beckham at the moment – just a week after receiving the World’s Most Glamorous Celebrity title, it looks as though she’s set to bag a role in everyone’s gayest guilty pleasure, Glee.

Well, that’s if the shows execs have their way, at least. Apparently they’re eager to get Ms. Beckham on board and have been persistently persuading her to make a cameo appearance in the hit the TV show.

“The Madonna and Lady GaGa episodes of Glee were such a success, execs want to feature Posh,” a source told the Daily Star. “She’s much more po-faced, but she’s a gay icon.?They reckon she’ll go down a storm.”

Whilst we’re not quite sure just how credible these sources are – everyone knows she doesn’t go by the name Posh nowadays – we can’t say we’re not excited. Remember her appearance in Ugly Betty?

We love a good fashion show, whether it’s reality such as stylista or the soon to be screend Running in Heels or romcom Ugly Betty style. But the surefire hit of the year is going to be The Beautiful Life.

The Beautiful Life sees Elle Macpherson as head of a modelling agency and Mischa Barton is Sonja a supermodel veteran, and it is all being produced by model and actor Ashton Kutcher. So let’s see; glamorous cast: check, bitchy atmosphere equals top one liners: check, fab outfits: check.

These photos are the first glimpse from the filming of the new series. It took place in Regent’s Park, London and we are loving the style. Louis Vuitton and Chanel…fabulous!

I am particularly excited about this show because it does take the heat off the journalism arena sometimes those shows are a little close and a little too real for comfort.
