Have you ever seen Victoria Beckham with a hair out of place? Neither have I. The same goes for Dita von Teese. Come to think of it, these two ladies aren’t that far off from each other, style-wise. We rarely see Dita during the day so we don’t really have much to compare for her daytime wear, but ‘relaxed clothing’ seems to be a foreign concept for Posh anyway.
All those intent on insisting that Mrs Victoria Beckham has some semblance of a fashion sense will be very disappointed to find out that Mr Blackwell does not agree. In his annual worst-dressed list which is in its 48th year (and which always has us eagerly waiting in anticipation) spared Britney Spears for once and gave “Posh Spice” the number one spot for 2007. His reasons,
“Forget the fashion spice, wearing a skirt would suffice! In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty posh can really wreck-em,”
Amy Winehouse came in at number 2 for being a “50’s carhop horror” and Mary-Kate Olsen at number 3 because she “resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane.”

How fickle is the fashion world? Very! After facing intense criticism for his presentation during NY Fashion Week, the tables have now turned for Jacobs and praise is flooding his way in abundance.
The Observer has awarded Jacobs, Style Icon of the Year 2007, even though its been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will be the new face of Marc Jacobs for Spring/Summer 08 (yes you read correctly).
Fashion photographer Juergen Teller did the honours and shot the campaign. We predict what the ads will look like now - pouting and lots stiff poses.
Oohh, here’s a sneak peek of Victoria Beckham in Ugly Betty. And just like Posh Spice it’s pointless, cheesy and takes the piss out of itself brilliantly. The episode airs in the U.S on Nov. 8th, so it should arrive in the UK a week later. Thoughts?
As Victoria Beckham is carving a new career in the shape of a ‘professional style icon’, why is it that fashion writers and fashionistas alike are still asking why she continually gets it wrong? It’s certainly not the fault of the clothes - there was nothing wrong with the Giambattista Valli dress she sported some weeks ago, or the Louboutins she wears at every photo opportunity. Victoria Beckham to sue Rock and Republic ? [m&c]
No longer allowed freebies from big designer labels…..has Victoria Beckham become a fashion liability?
Well not according to the organisers of fashion rocks, who appear to be considering the stick thin celeb as a possible host for the next show at the Royal Albert Hall, London on 18 October 2007.
I just knew that this would happen:
Posh Spice is thinking of launching her own fashion label. Not suprised at all. It was quite obiviously her next step. Well good luck to her lets hope she’s a better designer than she is a singer though.
“I don’t just like sexy clothes, I like the great designers, vintage fashion.“
