Could it be true? Rumours flying around Paris fashion week claim that Kate Winslet is set to play Dame Vivienne Westwood in an upcoming biopic of the designer.

Even standing in the queue for this show was an event; it was a who’s who of celebsville, from Pamela Anderson to Mischa Barton to Kate Moss to Erin O’Connor and Dita Von Teese, yes they were all there en masse. Oh, and I must add that Dita really is flawless.

Vivienne Westwood’s at Macy’s, launching her signature line with Nine West….

While she gives a decent interview, her responses and comments such as “cause its such a small collection, I imagine, they’ve been made really, really nicely” and “the skirt’s lovely…” give the impression that she had limited input in the design process. Nevertheless fans won’t be disappointed by the line….

What: As part of her collaboration with Nine West, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood will be making an in-store appearance on Sept 12th from 6pm to 8pm. The limited-edition 11-piece NineWest/Vivienne Westwood collaboration features unique shoes, boots, handbags and accessories.
