And it keeps getting better! French Vogue have profiled some of our favourite fashion bloggers! Equipped with only an A-level in french, I struggled to understand all the profiles fully, but managed to get the general gist of it.

Following on from the post below, Manolo has posted his thoughts regarding the Vogue article on fashion blogs.

The first incredibly sweet and really appreciated and the second highlights a point which is very true and in essence, the beauty of the internet and fashion blogging.

(I can’t even lie, I have become even more endeared to the blogger that is Manolo.)

On another note regarding the shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, did anyone else know that (god forbid) when he passes away, Manolo’s are over. He has neither backing nor an heir to his throne. [budgetfashionista]

The heading above comes from an article in this months Vogue UK regarding the phenomenon of fashion blogging, which I was beside myself in excitement to read. What a breakthrough for fashion bloggers to be recognised by Vogue as a legitimate form of media! However a couple of paragraphs into the article and I just became plainly disappointed at the incorrectness of one particular fact and opinion.

Vogue celebrates its 90th anniversary in it’s December issue, taking a look at the changing face of fashion in its 90 year existence.

Quite surprised at the success of “The Devil wears Prada”. According to reviews Meryl Streep gives a very impressive performance as Miranda Priestly, the boss from hell who’s said to bear a resemblance to US Vogue editor Anna Wintour. So much so that some designers were unwilling to lend their designs to the movie, for fear of getting on the wrong side of Ms Wintour.
