  • Ben de Lisi shuts down womenswear line
The famed London based American designer is probably best known over here as the bloke who helps out wannabe designers on Project Catwalk. But for those followers of fashion they will know him as the creator of many a red-carpet gown. But things are not all well in the Ben de Lisi camp. He did not show at fashion week and he’s now announced that from June his Elizabeth...

  • French Elle leads the photoshop backlash
In perfect contrast to US Vogue’s May edition which was so heavily airbrushed it may as well have been a painting, French Elle has decided to shoot a non-photoshopped front cover. The cover star is actress and model Monica Bellucci who can be seen posing in a Christian Dior jumper. But not only has she not been photoshopped, but she isn’t wearing any make up too....

  • Vogue is bursting with fabulous faces
It feels like ages since I saw a Vogue cover with a model on the front, or any magazine for that matter. But May’s issue of Vogue has not one but nine models of the moment. There is: Liya Kebede, Natalia Vodianova, Anna Jagodzinska, Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Jourdan Dunn, Raquel Zimmermann, Caroline Trentini and Natasha Poly.

  • Adele’s missing her curves in Vogue
We have been waiting with bated to breath to see what this much-hyped shoot would actually look like. Starring the singer Adele, and photographed by the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz we’ve been expecting a lot. The first image is out with the full shoot in the April edition of Vogue. And whilst the image is really lovely, the usually curvy Adele looks strangely...

  • Little Pixie Geldof lands the cover of Vogue Italia
This is a surprising turn for the fashion bible. Vogue Italia is generally considered to be the most elegant of all the major Vogue titles, boasting great stylists and forward thinking shoots. It therefore comes as a bit of a shock to see Pixie Geldof draped on the front cover. She is of course the least hateful of the Geldof’s and does have a great sense of style....

The fly-on-the-wall documentary which took place during the making of Vogue US’ September issue, will be coming to a movie theatre near you this September. Filmed by RJ Cutler and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to high acclaim, The September Issue hit the headlines thanks to some fairly unkind remarks and revelations about their cover star, Sienna Miller....

  • Pugh’s in good company
Gareth Pugh’s career has gone from strength to strength and he is now recognised the world over as a fashion force. It was only a matter of time before the fashion houses started to show interest in Pugh and his creations. This week Vogue reported that Delphine Arnault, the daughter of Bernard Arnault chairman of LVMH, had attended Pugh’s menswear show in Paris and...

  • Sienna has everything but the Hollywood smile!
Tears before bedtime, well for Sienna Miller it probably will be. In a new fly-on-the-wall documentary about the ultimate fashion magazine US Vogue, Sienna Miller comes under fire from Anna Wintour’s eye for detail. The documentary which follows the Vogue team as they prepare for the most important issue of the year, September is directed by RJ Cutler was shown for...
