Last Friday we were lucky enough to pop on down to Mulberry‘s New Bond Street flagship store for a little nose around its AW11 pre-collection – and, naturally, it was as fabulous as expected.

Bringing the English countryside to the inner city, the label has captured everything outdoorsy for its latest line of lust-haves – from bustling hedgerows, wonderful woodlands to idyllic rural landscapes, its ready-to-wear, bags and accessories embrace all things country-like for pre-fall.

From Postman’s lock ankle boots in soft oak leather, fox brown speckled tweed trenches, birds nest croc nappa harper double handle bags, to hedgehog bronze metallic crepe Annie skirts, it seems it’s not just landscapes that are coming to life next seasons either – the British fashion label has undoubtedly brought a bevy of burrowing woodland critters to fashion’s frontline, too, not to mention creating the perfect wardrobe for an English countryside pursuit.

With a colour palette of deer brown, fox green, conker, dark heather, midnight, bright cabbage, eggplant, pumpkin, field gold, foxglove pink and waders green, the new collections and accessories create an intensely sumptuous starting block for the season ahead.

Stay tuned for Mulberry’s full AW11 collection in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, flick through our favourites from its AW11 pre-collection below…
