There’s no way of getting away from it – summer is almost here, and it’s time to dust of the swimwear and get beach beautiful.

The endless rails of bikinis, tankinis, swimsuits, kaftans and sarongs can be headache inducing for sure, but if you want a safe bet, look no further than the humble swimming costume this summer.

Yes, the one-piece is making a bit of a comeback and I, for one, am quite happy about this. There’s something charming and glamorously retro about swimsuits and, if you’re bored of bikinis, they are the perfect anecdote.

Top of the swimsuits lust-list is this Pucci one-shoulder number. It’s resort chic at its finest and is made all the more special by that iconic Pucci print. The blue tones are contrasted by a metallic gold trim and its one-shoulder tie looks sophisticated and modern at the same time.

You’re onto a winner with this one so you can pretty much wear it whichever way you please, but, if it were me, I’d work it like Jackie O in the Riviera: don a pair of giant sunnies and floppy sun hat.

Unfortunately the nearest beach to me is Blackpool, but a girl can dream…
