Sonia Rykiel is a bit of a legend for quirky dressers out there. There aren’t many prints the French label won’t touch. Spots, stripes, check, floral, geometric; anything is fair game.
The colour schemes also veer on the striking side, too – think electric blue, bright cherry red, fuchsia and purple. Not for the timid, sure, but the luxury designs are made to get the wearer noticed.
For me this stripe cherry sweater sums up Sonia Rykiel’s designs so well. The lilac and blush stripes work together sweetly and the traditional round neck is classic and stylish.
Made from ultra fine knit cotton, it’s super soft and something you’ll enjoy wearing, but of course, the focal point for me is that cute little cherry brooch. I mean, who doesn’t love a well placed cherry?
Perfect for chilled days, this sweater was made to be worn with denim. Add to this summer platform wedges and a quirky tote and you havee the perfect outfit for mooching around the shops. C’est fantastique!
