Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala at London’s St James’s Palace. The event supported the Child Bereavement Charity and the royal guests of honour helped to raise over £675,000 for the extremely worthwhile cause.

“The Child Bereavement Charity has now directly helped thousands of families,” said Prince William whilst addressing the guests at the charity event.

“This year too, the charity has brought its compassion and experience to the aid of bereaved military families, whose children suffer so much – in a way, for all of our sakes. I thank you for doing this from the bottom of my heart.”

The royal couple raised more than half a million pounds for the charity and did so looking mighty flawless. Duchess Catherine took everyone’s breath away in a floor-length Beulah London ‘Sarai’ red dress with a plunging neckline and bishop sleeves. It was a bold and adventurous choice, but it complemented her hubby’s black tux perfectly; the pair looked so striking together!
