Diane von Furstenberg has shown us that technology and fashion can indeed work seamlessly together with the recent release of the Google glasses, but she isn’t the only one.
The Palladium Hotel Group has gone above and beyond what is expected of normal hotels and has done something pretty unique: it’s announced the launch of a technological bracelet! Confused? We were too at first, but stay with us, we promise this is going to be good!
The bracelet is designed to be far more than an accessory; hotel guests will no longer be weighed down and inconvenienced by money or their hotel keys while trying to soak up some rays or taking a tip in the pool, as the bracelet will be doing all of that for you. Simply pass the bracelet through the readers, and you can pay for everything via pin or access your hotel room and various other areas of the hotel with total ease. We bet we will see something like this in the next James Bond film!
The bracelet, otherwise known as the VIB (Very Important Bracelet – obviously), comes in various different shapes, sizes and packages, including the “Ushuaïa Clubber Pack” (which includes 10 drinks, access to the VIP lounge and a special breakfast, but at a bargain price) and our favourite, the “VIB Zen Pack” (which comes with a Spa massage, unlimited access to the water circuits at the Spa and a special wellness breakfast).
The bracelet will be available at the Ushuaia Beach Hotel Ibiza this summer; in case you needed another reason to pack your bags for sunnier climes this summer, this is the perfect one!
