Could It Be? Are Emma Stone And Andrew Garfield Back Together?

If there ever was a celeb love story set to give us major life, it’d be Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield rekindling their romance. After an amicable break-up last year, the pair were spotted earlier this week taking a stroll through Convent Garden, leading fans (and us) to  “hope” that they are a couple once again. But alas, while we would love for nothing more than our two favourite actors to get back together, it would seem it was nothing more than close friends spending quality time together, as our wishful thinking was shut down swiftly after a source confirmed to People that, “They’re definitely not dating”. Well, we’re still keeping our fingers crossed…

Emma Stone is flawless in Valentino Couture during Venice Film Festival

Let’s not beat around the bush here – Emma Stone looked drop dead gorgeous at the Birdman premiere during the Venice Film Festival last night – and she had a stunning deep green Valentino Couture dress to thank for it. The 25-year-old actress has been really upping her game on the red carpet recently (which is actually pretty impressive seeing as she nailed her red carpet looks right from the beginning of her Hollywood career) but we think this particular outing might just be her best one yet. Emma also debuted a very on-trend yet directional choppy bob during the premiere too, which worked perfectly with the plunging neckline of the dress and her minimal complementary make-up. The attention to detail of the dress – from the layers of tulle to the beautiful criss-cross design at the back – was out of this world, and Emma was the perfect actress to do it justice. Flawless is an understatement!

Emma Stone looks breathtaking in Prada for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 New York premiere

Miuccia Prada sure does know how to create that jaw-dropping, dreamy dress for the red carpet. We still get goose-bumps when remembering the stunning pale turquoise dress she created for 12 Years a Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o for the Oscars – an award-winning dress for an award winning lady – and we think the dress that Emma Stone wore for the latest The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premiere is up there too. Emma looked absolutely breath-taking at The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Rise of Electro New York premiere in a custom nude Prada gown. The dress came complete with metal caged detailing, open sides, and the same floor-sweeping Princess-style material as Lupita’s Oscars dress at the bottom. The tones of the dress complemented Emma’s hair and skin tone perfectly, and the lack of accessories meant that all the focus remained on the dress. And rightly so! Do you love Emma’s glamorous, sophisticated premiere look as much as we do?

Emma Stone covers American Vogue’s May issue!

Good things do indeed come to those who wait – why else would Anna Wintour wait ‘til all the other magazine covers have been released before debuting the American Vogue ones? The Vogue US May issue is solid proof that you save the best ‘til last, as it features Emma Stone – expertly photographed by Craig McDean – rocking a plethora of fabulously fashionable pieces on the cover and within the accompanying editorial. And her interview is a great read too, just as we expected, as we kind of like to think of Emma as our girl-next-door best friend. Inside the mag, Emma poses in threads from Christian Dior to Chanel and many more in-between, and also talks about her new films (The Amazing Spider-Man 2 included, naturally) and her boyfriend/Spidey himself, Andrew Garfield… “I think I’ve learned a lot by being around him,” she gushed. “And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me. “It’s been fun working with him just because of who he is as an actor and person. I think it would be fun no matter what.” Aww, what a cutie! And judging by their appearance at The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premiere, we think their love is as strong as ever! You can read the rest of Emma’s interview in the Vogue US May issue.

Emma Stone is Worst Dressed of the week in Chanel

Seldom do A-listers set a sartorial foot wrong; but this week, Emma Stone has done just that! Attending the Berlin premiere of her latest film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, the actress wore a Chanel creation from the pre-fall 2014 collection. Featuring an embellished, ankle-grazing maxi skirt and tucked in multi-coloured top, it made for on-the-fence look. We’re not to sure about the gold embroidery sitting again the three-way colour palette, and the exposed heels make the outfit appear awkwardly short, rather than purposefully so. But, it’s not just the outfit that isn’t sitting right with us. The tightly curled do she debuted with this look doesn’t suit the delicate outlook of the outfit; wispy chiffon calls for a softer hairstyle. Props for the make-up, though, and for going sans accessories, as too much would’ve completely written off this look! Although she hasn’t failed to impress, sartorially speaking, during the promotional tour of her film, this look is one that’s let the side down. What do you make of this outfit? [Image: Zimbio]

Freida Pinto vs. Emma Stone: Who wore Burberry Prorsum better?

Putting their own spin on a beautiful peplum corset top from British fashion house Burberry are two leading ladies who always hold up in the style stakes. First up, Freida Pinto wore hers on the Burberry Prorsum autumn/winter 2013-14 front row, with sleek, emerald tailored trousers and a peep-toe wedge heel. Accessorising her look was a slick of black on the nails, a neon yellow shoulder bag and a sash tie around the waist. Flowing locks and a pop of red on the lips finished this look with finesse. But beating her to it was the gorgeously girly Emma Stone who wore the same top to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards back in November. Emma stuck to a similar colour palette on her bottom half, but instead opted for a statement sequin skirt. A sweetly side-swept long bob and black pumps completed Emma’s look, not to mention her signature rosy glow. So, whose look lands your vote? For us, just as she was back when she first appeared in this look, Emma Stone is the winner hands down! The look oozes glamour, and, as much as we like Freida’s tailored style, Emma’s glitzy skirt had us positively blinded by fashion joy at first sight! Do you agree with our style verdict?

Blake Lively and Emma Stone make a welcome return at The Croods premiere

Blake Lively and Emma Stone have been noticeably absent on the red carpet these days (well, we can never get enough of them even when they do regularly grace us with their presence) so we’re glad to see them return for the New York premiere of The Croods – we welcome them back with open arms! Emma Stone looked divine in a monochrome Lanvin dress with an exaggerated bow at the back, which she teamed with a long, layered necklace, nude pumps and smouldering smoky eyes. Blake Lively, or should we say the relatively new Mrs Ryan Reynolds, also wowed the crowd as she lent her support to her hubby on his newest film. Blake flashed her perfect pins in a skin-tight burgundy and white Marios Schwab dress, which she teamed with her signature dishevelled “I just got out of bed but look how perfect I look” hairstyle. And if there’s anyone to convince us that white pumps are okay, it’s Blake… anyone else have leg envy?

Emma Stone vs. Anna Dello Russo: Who wore Rochas better?

It’s a tough one this week, as we’re faced with two of fashion’s most forwardly dressed ladies! Although Anna Dello Russo has first dibs on nearly every item of clothing that graces the runways before the entire planet even gets whiff of them, Emma Stone beat the vivaciously attired editor-at-large to it! Showing off a stunning creation from the Fall 2012 Rochas collection, Emma looked a dream as she attended the Tokyo premiere for The Amazing Spider-Man back in June last year. Going prim all the way – in line with dress’s ladylike, drop-waist silhouette – Emma wore Christian Louboutin bow pumps and sported a softly-done updo. Anna Dello Russo, on the other hand, steers clear of the conventional style path and always seeks to add a much welcomed twist to her well-documented looks. And you didn’t expect her to wear a simple brown dress, well, in a simple way, did you? Throwing out the basic rules that apply to statement accessories, and throwing the brightest bag, heels and earrings into the mix, our fave fashion personality gave the street-stylers much to pap outside the Miu Miu Spring 2013 presentation during Paris Fashion Week in October. She wore Miu Miu booties (natch), ADR x H&M earrings (double natch) and a super-statement making Paula Cademartori bag. Who wins? Emma Stone? Why? Well, as much as we do love an eye-ball popping ensemble from ADR during Fashion Month and beyond, this pretty Rochas number didn’t really need such harsh colours to dress it up. Emma’s dainty, feminine styling wins hands down!

Emma Stone sparkles in Burberry at the CFDA/Vogue Awards

Inside the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, the attention may have been focused on the worthy winners of the evening, but outside on the red carpet it was a totally different story. Emma Stone turned heads for all the right reasons as she rocked up wearing a stunning sparkling outfit from the Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2013 collection. The rich royal blue and green tones work perfectly together, and are even more striking against Emma’s pale skin and blonde hair. Someone’s definitely getting into the festive spirit! We also like how Emma went for subtle black pumps so that all the attention would be focused on her glistening outfit, flawless make-up and winning smile. Once again, Miss Stone has proved that she can do no wrong, which is probably why Burberry gave the actress the honour of being the first woman to sport a piece from the new collection on the red carpet.

Emma Stone gets futuristic for Interview, talks hair colours and heartbreak

Actress-of-the-moment Emma Stone is a long way away from the usual girl-next-door we normally associate her with, as she poses for a very futuristic photoshoot for Interview.  As well as donning some gorgeous outfits from the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Versace, Christopher Kane and Haider Ackermann (among others) for Mikael Jansson’s camera, Emma opens up to the mag about more personal matters. “I was crawling on the floor,” she told the magazine about going through a break-up. “I remember throwing up … within the hour. I remember being on the floor … I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It’s like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen … It was awful.” Aww, can we hug her? We know she has her The Amazing Spider-Man hottie boyfriend Andrew Garfield now, but still… On a slightly less depressing note, she also speaks out about her hair colour, which is apparently always a hot topic of discussion. “I had to dye it red for Superbad,” she said. “They didn’t let me go back to blonde until Spider-Man.  “Now I’m back to my roots. But I get a lot of questions about hair colour. People are very into talking about hair. Why do you think that is? Is it because I’m a girl?” We can’t say for sure Emma; but we’d wager it might have something to do with the fact that you look gorgeous no matter what, and people want to get some tips from you?  Just a hunch! Emma Stone gets her British Vogue debut for August

Looks like Emma Stone can cross another thing off her list as she has just landed her first ever British Vogue cover! A fab achievement if ever there was one. The newly blonde actress got her official fashion Bible debut last month though, when she fronted the July issue of American Vogue in a stunning Nina Ricci ensemble. If we’re being honest, we think we still prefer the American version; probably something to do with the soft hues and pastel colours, although the British issue seems more suited to Emma’s quirky and youthful personality and off-screen style. We can never have too much Emma Stone though, and we can’t wait to see these editorial pics – no doubt they’re just as striking as the cover!

Emma Stone concludes her The Amazing Spider-Man premiere duties in Chanel

Emma Stone has been on a whirlwind promotional tour for The Amazing Spider-Man these past few weeks, but we think you’ll agree that choosing Chanel for her final red carpet outing guarantees going out with an almighty bang! Emma chose one of our favourite looks from the Chanel Resort 2013 collection for the LA premiere, and we definitely think she pulled it off – even without the pink wig as seen on the catwalk! It’s a tricky silhouette with the structured shoulders and full, peplum-style skirt, but we think Karl Lagerfeld will be a happy man. Plus, the colour scheme works with her new hair colour and pale skin tone perfectly. Everything about this look gets top marks from us – we love the natural make-up teamed with the feline eyes, understated but very evident Cartier accessories (not even slightly jealous – honest!) and non-distracting, fuss-free Christian Louboutins. This was the perfect look to round off Emma’s highly successful Spidey promo tour, don’t you think? [poll id=”354″]

Rate or Slate Emma Stone, Whitney Port and Diane Kruger’s style choices?

Emma Stone has been doing the rounds at glamorous parties and premieres for her latest movie The Amazing Spider-man, and as expected, she’s been pulling out style-startler after style-startler on the red carpet! Up this week is Emma in a Dolce & Gabbana fall 2012 number at the Madrid premiere for the film. Next up is Whitney Port in a Camilla and Marc fall 2012 number, as she attended the press launch for ‘Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model’. Surprisingly, this outfit looks more spring/summer than fall, and the Kurt Geiger ‘Enigma’ mules add a touch of the beloved high street! Finishing this week’s Rate or Slate is our fashion favourite Diane Kruger at the NHL Awards, in an Alessandra Rich spring/summer 2012 number. This lady is a recurring vision of style perfection on the red carpet, but with this look, we’re still deciding… It’s over to our Style Jury to dissect… Fashion News Ed, Maria says: Emma Stone: ‘I can see how this dress could look so wrong on so many people but I don’t think Emma Stone is one of them. I loved this dress on the runway and Emma’s subtle hair, make-up and accessorising really helps translate it from catwalk to real life. The colour palette complement’s Emma’s skin tones beautifully. No surprises – this is my favourite.’ Whitney Port: ‘I can take or leave Whitney’s look here. It’s nothing special and the shoes are really offending me but I like the mishmash of colours which is just what this country needs! Maybe this will look better from behind a judges desk!’ Diane Kruger: ‘I wish the top half had been a little less blocky and a bit more dainty and elegant like Diane Kruger herself, but there’s no denying that she still looks gorgeous.I like the […]

Emma Stone is rocking Roksanda Ilincic in Spain

We know we gushed about Emma Stone‘s look at the London premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man on Tuesday, but we were equally as impressed by her appearance a yesterday’s photocall in Madrid, Spain and just had to share her style triumph with you. The blonde cutie wore a burgundy and blue colour block dress from the Roksanda Ilincic autumn/winter 2012 collection, and accessorised with some zebra print Christian Louboutin heels. Her footwear choice was interesting and unpredictable, but we think it totally works as it gives the look a modern and kooky edge which is Emma Stone in a nutshell. And did anyone else notice that Emma is playing homage to Spiderman with the subtle red and blue colour scheme? Coincidence or not, we think it’s kinda sweet that her style is complementing her real-life beau. Aww – we could just eat her and Andrew Garfield with a spoon. (We won’t, but we could…)

Emma Stone wows in Elie Saab for The Amazing Spider-Man London premiere

American Vogue’s most recent cover girl Emma Stone completely razzled and dazzled em at last night’s London premiere of her new film The Amazing Spider-Man in Leicester Square. We’ll be honest – we would have been happy with Emma in virtually anything. We’ve fallen head over heels for her these past few months, and our girl crush reached new, stratospheric heights when we saw her grace the cover of the fashion Bible last week. But we don’t think we’re being biased as we sit here ranting and raving about how awesome she looked last night, do you? The blonde cutie wowed the crowd in a plunging Elie Saab jumpsuit from the autumn/winter 2012 collection – and added a pop of summer-ready colour by way of an orange waist-cinching belt. The perfect amount of boldness, elegance, sexiness and sparkle for a big premiere; Hollywood newbies: take note, this is how it’s done!

Emma Stone covers American Vogue’s July issue in Nina Ricci

As we excitedly and emotionally tweeted last night, American Vogue‘s July cover star is one other than the gorgeous, newly blonde Emma Stone! We literally let out a huge squeal when we set eyes upon the cover yesterday. Emma is the epitome of the all American beauty, and the Nina Ricci autumn/winter 2012 ensemble she is wearing combined with the pastel colours of the cover complement her locks and skin beautifully. And don’t even get us started on her flawless face – definitely something all the airbrushing in the world wouldn’t be able to achieve. This is hands down our favorite American Vogue cover this year… and that’s a powerful statement because Anna Wintour has churned out some blinders this year already! If you weren’t excited about seeing Emma and real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spiderman before, we have a feeling you might be now. Let’s hope the editorial is just as wow-some as the cover; kudos Mario Testino!

Who wore it best? Lady Gaga vs Emma Stone in Tom Ford

Lace has been a huge trend this season, with models and celebrities alike choosing the feminine fabric for everything from socks to smocks and dresses. So, of course Ms Try Everything Once, aka Lady Gaga, would also don this delicate décor in the form of a fabulous Tom Ford dress. The singer wore the white, fully-laced dress in virginal white, straight off the Tom Ford AW11 runway, to promote her new single You and I in New York last week. Gaga’s version featured long sheer sleeves, which the singer snazzed up with strings of pearls and a gold brooch, keeping with the retro style of the dress. And in true Gaga kookiness, she added in a gigantic white frilly bloom hat and bug-eyed sunglasses. Actress Emma Stone, on the other hand, went for the dark and dramatic look at the premier of Crazy, Stupid, Love in New York back in July. The black lace dress contrasted against her pale skin, looking even more breathtaking with suede Louboutin heels. Stone made the dress look super sophis with a sleek side parting and dark lipstick – and we love the way the jolting hips create curves for her slender frame. But who do you think wore it best: Gaga with her vintage virginal white look, or Emma Stone in her vampish dark and decadent dress? [poll id=”188″]

Emma Stone hot or not in L’AGENCE? We say hot.

Whilst appearing on The Amazing Spider-Man Panel at Comic-Con 2011, in San Diego on Friday, actress Emma Stone certainly sizzled in L’AGENCE. The black layered dress was taken from the label’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection, and undoubtedly did the conventional LBD a huge amount of justice. We’re too jealous for words, but what do you make of Emma’s black-on-black outfit? [poll id=”178″]

Mid-heeled sandals are a great way to do summer footwear: chic, thick ankle strap sandals in neutral tones such as nude and black work well with dresses and ankle-grazing trousers. A medium, block heel or mini wedge is perfect if you’re blessed in the height department and ideal if you fear sore feet at the end of the working day. Get the look: Emma Watson in Rafael Lopez

Emma Watson has gone from actress to model to fashion icon all before her 21st Birthday, and this latest show-stopping red carpet number again proves why we adore her effortlessly classic style. Ms. Watson attended the Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows film premiere in London last week in this ultra sleek and sophisticated black lace dress by Rafael Lopez. We love how the dress boasts a vintage vibe, whilst adding a modern twist with the feathered skirt – and with Emma’s new hair cut we can see the start of a 1920s theme. With the dress being the central statement of the outfit, Emma’s natural make up and barely-there accessories ensure all eyes are on the Lopez piece – but she doesn’t forget the sparkle with her dew drop earrings. Once again Ms. Watson has ticked all of our sartorial boxes, so here are our top picks for recreating her look… Lace Frill Skirt Dress, £30, ASOS The LLD is almost as staple as the LBD today, and this lace frill dress from ASOS shares a very similar cut and design to like the Lopez number. Short sleeves? Check. Lace chest? Check. Layered skirt (minus the feathers)? Check. We even love how it draws in at the waste to emphasise the tiered lace panels – just like the dropped waist on Emma’s dress. Office Square Black Nubuck heels, £75, eBay Fashion Outlet A pair of black pumps are a must-have for Emma’s sleek look, and we think these Office Nubuck heels are the perfect party pair. Not only are they a dead ringer for Emma’s courts with their sculpted toe and platform, but they’re a timeless design to rework again and again. 3 Hairstyles That Let You Take Beauty Risks With A Safety Net

With spring nowhere in sight, many of us are trying to find a way to catapult ourselves out of the monotonous winter gloom. If this sounds like you, making a rebellious style change might just be what you need. We’ve always loved risk-takers in fashion, and hairstyles are no exception. That being said, being experimental with your hairstyle carries higher stakes than wearing a daring outfit. You can take clothes off in seconds-hair takes a little longer to fix. Lots of people let their fear of a hair catastrophe prevent them from taking any risks in that area. Thankfully, there are hairstyles out there that make it possible for you to be defiant without having to worry too much about the consequences. For instance, lots of women nowadays are becoming experimental with human hair toppers, one piece hair extensions or any of its style variations. Check out these three hairstyles that will satisfy both your timid and gutsy side. Red Hair Red is widely seen as an audacious color. It’s eye-catching and unforgettable, and infuses energy into even the most drab situations. Despite its boldness, it’s very versatile. Just think about how many celebrities have red hair: Emma Stone has rocked it in many a modern romantic comedy, Christina Hendricks is unforgettable in the 1960s world of the show Mad Men, and it’s a key part of indie musician Florence Welch’s mix of boho and retro style, just to name a few. These beauty role models is inspiring, but it’s also easy to feel intimidated by them. If you’re not a natural redhead and afraid you can’t pull off full-blown copper, remember that it’s okay to ease into it. You could try out red highlights or tint your hair with washable dye first. Schwarzkopf’s hair professionals agree, and provide tips on […]

Best Dressed At The Oscars 2017: Brie Larson, Chrissy Teigen, Taraji P. Henson And More!

There’s no doubt that this year’s Oscars will go down in history as being one of the most memorable ceremonies to date. From La La Land incorrectly receiving Moonlights award for best picture, to tourists crashing the festivities and Chrissy Teigen taking a nap during Casey Affleck’s speech. Yep, it was definitely one to remember. We wish we could say the same for the red carpet, however. With just a few “wow” dresses, it didn’t take too long to narrow down the best dressed list.  Metallics along with safe colours such as black and white were the most popular choices with many of Hollywood’s starlets getting it quite wrong. But we’re not here to name and shame. Instead we’re going to give props to the actresses whom effortlessly nailed it. Bringing a flamenco vibe to the red carpet Brie Larson kept it simple and sophisticated in a strapless ruffled gown by Oscar de la Renta dress and paired with Aquazzura sandals. Never one to get it wrong, Halle Berry combined two of the biggest trends of the night – metallics and fringe – with this figure hugging Versace couture gown. Jessica Biel gave major life to the term “golden goddess” with this beautiful floor length creation with a fringe collar by KaufmanFranco. Chrissy Teigen opted for Zuhair Murad to show off her fabulous figure. With a sexy thigh-high split, this is possibly one of our absolute fave dresses of the night. We had no doubt that Taraji P Henson would give us life with her choice of outfit and boy did she not disappoint. Wearing a custom made Alberta Ferretti gown with a plunging neckline the Hidden Figures actress brought glamour in high doses. Designed by red carpet favourites, Ralph & Russo, we adore Priyanka Chopra’s futuristic, structured white gown. Taking it back […]

Finding The Right Glasses For Your Face

Shopping for clothes is tough, shopping for glasses is tougher. This is because our faces are the most unique parts of us. Think about how many other people you know who are the same height or body type as you, or have the same foot size. We choose the length of leg or width of waist when buying jeans, and shoes come in helpful sizes and even half sizes. So why then is it so much harder with glasses and sunglasses? Why are there no sizes or precise criteria for us to follow? And it’s worse, because glasses can either work with our features or against them in a way clothes usually don’t. And the stakes are even higher with glasses — especially if you wear them every day. Well this guide looks to demystify glasses and how to choose the right pair for your face shape and size. It’s been written with the help and insight of Red Hot Sunglasses, who are experts in all things glasses and sunglasses. Face size First of all, it’s important to work out whether or not you have a large face or a small face. This can be trickier than it sounds as it can be arbitrary as to what constitutes a small or large face, and especially hard if you think you might actually be somewhere in the middle. Small face If you don’t know if you have a small face, compare yourself to these celebrities: Women: Kristen Stewart, Sarah Hyland, Reece Witherspoon Men: Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Leonardo DiCaprio If your face is small and you’re a woman, then the best advice is to opt for large or oversized glasses and sunglasses as the big, chunkier frames will actually emphasise your more feminine, softer features. Other great styles include cat eye […]

Here’s our favourites at the Oscars 2015 (Margot Robbie and Anna Kendrick nearly made the cut…). Zoe Saldana in Versace Jennifer Aniston in Versace America Ferrera in Jenny Packham Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad Emma Stone in Elie Saab Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph & Russo Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab Lupita Nyong’o in Calvin Klein Reese Witherspoon in Tom Ford Rosamund Pike in Givenchy Couture

The Met Gala 2014: The best dressed!

All the big names in fashion, film, and music gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City last night, for the highly anticipated Met Gala! This year, the museum was honouring Charles James, and the dress-code was a very simple (albeit slightly “boring” according to Marc Jacobs) “white tie and decorations”. Anyone familiar with the work of Charles James would know that elegant eveningwear was his thing, so they wouldn’t have gone wrong by donning the finest couture pieces with some elegant jewels. There were many ladies who absolutely nailed their looks, while some probably should have stayed home. Stella McCartney had a big moment on the red carpet, dressing the likes of Rihanna and Reese Witherspoon so flawlesslessly for the event, in two very different but equally stunning dresses. Rihanna went for her signature sexy look, while Reese was a vintage glamour goddess. Selena Gomez also wowed on the red carpet for us, looking very mature for just 21 years old in a bold deep purple Diane von Furstenberg dress. We also love how Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were reunited at the Met Gala – they both looked amazing in  their respective Gucci Premiere and Emilio Pucci dresses. Not all of the ladies went for full-length or ballgown dresses (like Hayden Panettiere who looked like a Princess!) though – Solange Knowles and Lena Dunham were just two of the stars who went for something a little bit shorter. The impact definitely wasn’t lost though. Here are our best dressed celebs from last night’s Met Gala. Let us know who gets your vote in the comments below. Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham Rihanna in Stella McCartney Blake Lively in Gucci Premiere Reese Witherspoon in Stella McCartney Selena Gomez in Diane von Furstenberg Emma […]

Baby Spider-Man and adult Spider-Man go head-to-head for Evian

It’s no secret that we’re counting down the days until the silver screen release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 starring Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, so it won’t surprise you to learn that what we are about to tell you excited us beyond belief. You might think that’s a bold statement to make, but we have a feeling you will agree with us by the time you get to the bottom!   We’re pretty thrilled to reveal that Evian’s popular Live Young campaign is paying tribute to our favourite webbed superhero, with the latest initiative going be the name of The Amazing Baby & Me 2. Yep, as the title suggests, it’s all about a cute-as-a-button little baby taking on the guise of Spider-Man – and it might just be the most adorable thing you’ll see all month!   The 'Amazing Baby and Me 2' follows in the footsteps of the popular ‘Roller Babies’, ‘Baby Inside’, and ‘Baby&Me’ initiatives that have wowed the world with their messages and all-round cuteness.   The Amazing Baby & Me 2 follows baby Spidey (complete with his own knitted Spider-Man suit, naturally) going head to head with his adult double. Who comes out victorious? Well, that would be telling – you’ll have to watch the campaign video to find out the verdict!   We don’t feel that our words can do the video justice, so make sure you watch it and let us know your thoughts. We know we say this every time a new campaign comes out, but we think we mean it this time: this is definitely our favourite! Sponsored Post

Kirsten Dunst blossoms on Harper’s Bazaar UK May cover

We can’t quite contain our excitement about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 featuring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone hitting the silver screen soon, but we haven’t forgotten about the female star of the original trilogy Kirsten Dunst either. Kirsten has had so many great roles pre and post Spider-man, and has continued to blossom over the years – and blossom really is the key word on her Harper’s Bazaar UK May cover! This might just be one of the most spring/summer appropriate covers we’ve seen so far! Kirsten is rocking the natural beauty look on the cover, and florals feature heavily in the editorial too. If you’re not in the mood for summer after looking at the editorial then will eat our metaphorical hats! As well as posing in some of the most divine summer-ready pieces, Kirsten talks to the mag about her new film, her love of a good onesie (hers apparently has monkeys on!), and femininity… “I feel like the feminine has been a little undervalued,” she said. “We all have to get our own jobs and make our own money, but staying at home, nurturing, being the mother, cooking – it’s a valuable thing my mom created. “And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour. I’m sorry. You need a man to be a man and a woman to be a woman. That’s why relationships work…” Do you agree with Kirsten? You can read the rest of the interview and see even more gorgeous pics in the Harper’s Bazaar UK May issue, out now.

Gisele still Forbes Most Powerful model

The 2013 Forbes 100 Most Powerful Celebrities list has just been released, and once again Gisele Bündchen has found herself on top as far as models were concerned, securing the 81st spot. Pretty impressive considering how many models – iconic and up-and-coming – she had to beat off. Aussie Miranda Kerr came in at number 100. Unsurprisingly, Oprah Winfrey topped the entire list for the fifth year, but Lady Gaga came a very close second, with Beyonce securing the very respectable fourth spot. We can definitely see how those three ladies have influenced the world! Music queens Madonna, Taylor Swift and Rihanna came fifth, sixth and 13th respectively, while MFL fave actresses Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Kristen Stewart, Gwnyneth Paltrow, Emma Stone and Meryl Streep also secured places on the list. Is there anyone you think Forbes left out? [Forbes]

Lanvin Enamelled Resin Perfume Show Clutch: Yay or Nay?

Accessories by the French fashion house, Lanvin, are the epitome of unadulterated glamour. Pricey, luxurious and with real season-transcending value, Lanvin’s super-statement jewels and hand-held box clutches are an A-list favourite, with everyone from J-Lo to Emma Stone and Demi Moore die-hard fans. So when our peepers landed on this week’s Yay or Nay piece, it’s safe to say we were more than enthralled – and not just by the price tag! Capturing the essence (pardon the pun) of the Parisians’ flair for fashion, the Enamelled Resin Perfume Show Clutch is a lesson in bags that scream wow. No one ever said high fashion was going to be particularly practical, and judging by the form the Perfume Clutch takes (yep, you guessed it!), and its eyeball-popping price tag of a whopping £2,075, we won’t blame you for spending A LOT of time in pre-purchase contemplation. To help you decide whether to shell out or steer clear of this Lanvin beauty, we’ve weighed up the pros and cons below. Will you or won’t you? YAY Collectible: It’s one of those accessory purchases you just cannot bring yourself to use, and we don’t blame you. The plexiglass exterior and delicious gold coloured metal hardware makes us want to stare at it, rather than stuff it with makeup! Visual appeal: The perfume bottle silhouette and pretty detail set the Perfume Show Clutch apart as conversation starter, for sure. Minaudiere trend: A continuation of the fashion house’s knack for creating desirable cigarette box minaudieres, the Perfume Show Clutch is ideal if you want hand candy to accent an evening outfit, but don’t want to sport a massive clutch bag. NAY Impractical size: If you’re one to justify extreme handbag expenditure with how much bag space you’re actually getting, then the Perfume Clutch isn’t worth investing in. […]

Style Awards: Top 10 best dressed celebs of 2012

It’s safe to say, 2012 has been a positively chaotic year on many accounts: stealthy fashion musical chairs; the news of a 2013 royal tot, surprise (read: secret) weddings and a fair amount of heartbreak ensued. But one thing far more exciting than all of these juicy prospects combined is the FASHION we witnessed. From Miranda Kerr’s uber-stylish taxi-to-hotel hop, all endless, perfectly bronzed legs and the hottest off-duty ensembles imaginable, to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s ravishing red carpet looks, not forgetting some equally hot lingerie! Diane Kruger left us in a state of fash-induced hyperventilation, thanks to that Christian Dior couture gown whilst Emma Stone really established herself as the unturned stone (excuse the sorrowful pun) of fashion: she.looked.HOT. From Tom Ford to Trapstar, Rihanna has us on trend-led tenterhooks with every outfit she stepped out in, and Alexa, well, she’s just too stylish to even discuss, right? It was the probably the hardest thing we had to do – alongside trying to remember to use Saint Laurent instead of Yves Saint Laurent, and digesting news of R-Patz and  K-Stew’s brief split whilst admiring her red carpet looks – but choosing our 10 best dressed celebs of 2012 was a limiting task. After much thought, picking and choosing, editing and loudly conversing (read: arguing) over frills, hems and necklines, we’ve whittled it down to our Top 10. Here’s to 2012’s best dressed ladies…. Taylor Swift Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Rihanna Miranda Kerr Kristen Stewart Emma Stone Diane Kruger Blake Lively Anne Hathaway Alexa Chung Who was your best dressed of 2012?

Jennifer Lawrence voted the ‘world’s most desirable woman’

She blew us away in The Hunger Games and all her respective promotional work on chat shows, red carpets and magazine covers, so it comes as no surprise to learn that Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the world’s most desirable woman in a poll conducted by men’s mag Askmen.com. Congratulations to the 22-year-old actress are most definitely in order! “Overall, there’s a sense that she’s a little more authentic than other actors,” said James Bassil, the editor-in-chief of the mag. “She’s fresh because we haven’t seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years.” Jennifer beat stiff competition from the likes of Mila Kunis, Kate Upton and Rihanna (who respectively came second, third and fourth). Sofia Vergara, who was last year’s winner, slipped down to 12th  place. Click here to check out what other ladies made the list, and to find out how Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr, Blake Lively and our very own Cheryl Cole ranked. Do you agree with the voters? [Daily Mail]

Sarah Jessica Parker’s simple sophistication in Calvin Klein

Yesterday Marion Cotillard gave Dior’s latest ready-to-wear collection its red carpet debut, and now it looks like Sarah Jessica Parker has done the same for  Calvin Klein. SJP attended Elle‘s Women in Hollywood Celebration in Beverly Hills last night, wearing a pale grey dress hot off the spring/summer 2013 runway. The event was attended by a bevy of gorgeous women from the likes of Emma Stone to Lea Michele (they looked phenomenal too, may we add) but there’s something about the sheer simplicity of Sarah’s outfit that has us hooked. The former Carrie Bradshaw could have over-accessorised with chunky Anna Dello Russo approved jewellery or a contrasting piece of arm candy, but we’re glad she let the dress and her simple, sleek hairstyle do all the talking. One of our favourite Sarah Jessica Parker looks of the year, we think!

“I like walking out of the house feeling fully pulled together” – Olivia Palermo, InStyle UK October

Two Olivia Palermo stories in one day – oh how we spoil you! As well as being the face of – and inspiration behind – Jill Stuart’s new tote bags, Olivia Palermo can also be found sitting pretty on the front cover of InStyle UK’s October issue. The perfect girl to ease us into the new month, wouldn’t you say? Olivia is rocking some red-hot autumn/winter 2012 ensembles, including that Dolce and Gabbana dress that Emma Stone was rocking at a premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as a gorgeous McQ number among others. As well as posing her socks off, Olivia also gave a pretty frank and informative interview, although it didn’t surprise us to learn that the always impeccably dressed star – and fashion week FROW regular, natch – never leaves the house without making an effort with her appearance. “I get up every morning and I get dressed and I like getting dressed,” she said. “I like walking out of the house feeling fully pulled together. “It doesn’t matter if there’s someone standing outside my apartment or not. I couldn’t care less. I like getting dressed for me and not them.” That’s our girl! InStyle UK is out this Thursday!

Our favourite hair trends from the Met Gala 2012!

OK, so we gave you a run-down of some of our personal best dressed celebs at the 2012 Met Gala, but now it’s time to go beyond the dresses and check out the all-important hair choices. We were mesmerised by some of the hairstyles on the Met Gala red carpet, so we decided to put together a short list of some of our favourites. We all know that a good hairstyle is just as important as finding the right matching accessories and getting the make-up spot on too. Coco Rocha’s pretty pink extensions Coco Rocha’s pink curls were the first thing we saw in regards to this year’s Met Gala, as she showed all her Twitter followers a teaser pic… and we weren’t disappointed when she revealed her full look either. We applaud Coco for going for something bold and daring in both the hair and wardrobes stakes, and her fashion risks definitely paid off. Elsa Schiaparelli would 100% approve of all that pink! Jessica Alba and Lea Michele’s vintage Hollywood waves Jessica Alba was one of our best dressed ladies of the entire evening… she looked the epitome of Hollywood glamour in her golden Michael Kors dress, and her loose, ultra-glam side-swept waves complemented her look perfectly. Lea Michele also went for the old Hollywood look, choosing to wear her brown locks in a loose bob, contributing to her utterly flawless look. Beyonce’s sleek ponytail We love a good, sleek, low pony-tail… it’s a great alternative to the ballroom-style bun that we see so often at these high glam events. Perfect for adding some modern elegance to an otherwise very formal look. Queen Bey works the low pony like a pro! Ashley Greene and Diane Kruger’s fuss-free tresses Even though we love it when celebs mix it up on […]
