Out with the old, in with the new

bluebell_jean_oasis.jpgIt would appear that the reign of the skinny jean may just be over; the time has come, once again, for the wide-legged jean. And it’s about time! Whilst I do love my skinny’s, the flare is a far more figure friendly way to wear denim. It was a harsh reality, but the skinny cut was best suited to those with longer, thinner legs as demonstrated by the likes of Sienna Miller and Kate Moss.

The Flare on the other hand looks great on more or less anyone, due to the loosely cut shape they make legs appear thinner, if you have shorter legs then by teaming them with platforms, another favourite for this season, you’ll look 6 ft tall!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
