AW07: Knitted
Knits are integral to this seasons dress and with them they bring a new approach to oversized and baggy. From sweater dresses to cardigan coats, designers like Stella McCartney and Giles Deacon are breaking down the barriers in terms of what actually passes as a ‘whole’ piece of clothing; wearing a cardigan is now no longer an extra layer as much as an outfit in itself. However you might want to take into consideration the fact that standard lightweight crochet knits may not cut it this autumn/winter. Invest in chunky knits – the chunkier the better.
