Remember how we raved about Felder Felder after attending their debut show last season? Well judging by the turn out for their AW08 presentation, everyone else is raving about them too! And rightly so.
After teasing us with a soft feminine collection for Spring/Summer 08, twin sister duo Daniela and Annette, did a complete u-turn with this collection by referencing the grunge era of the nineties. The result? A collection that was powerful with lots of attitude.
Rich colours such as dark purple, deep browns and charcoal grey were employed. Both leather and chiffon featured quite heavily and all outfits were paired with Dr. Martens.
This wasn’t a collection for the faint hearted…each outfit was attention grabbing in its own right, from sweater dresses with thick shaggy wool collars to layered ruffled mini’s and floor skimming gowns. Skirts, jackets and dresses were embellished with gold rings and silk dresses matched with little cardigans added a feminine feel. The show was met with a warm applause!

[...] The most common question asked while waiting for shows to start has got to be, “So…which has been your favourite show so far?” Now that all the chaos is over and I’ve had a chance to reflect on the week that was London Fashion Week, I must admit I have two favourites – Aganovich and Deryck Walker (although it could well have been three as word is that Avsh Lom Gur’s collection was amazing!).
