I wanna be Kate Moss or rather I want her Tuxedo Jacket!

It’s become pretty clear that whatever Kate Moss is photographed in, becomes an instantaneous ‘must-have’ for girls everywhere. So when the supermodel was recently spotted (on a number of separate occasions) perfecting a fitted tuxedo jacket look, the masculine styling became an overnight wardrobe staple and flew off the shelves at her label, for Topshop.

With all of the soft and flirty trends for Spring, mens’ tailoring becomes the perfect contrast to balance and add structure to our closets. The clean line of the tux jacket make it easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Equally chic over jeans and a tee or a dressy night look.

This silk-wool tuxedo jacket by Castle Starr would be a great alternative to the Kate Moss for Topshop version which not surprisingly, is still out of stock. Love the light sheen of the silk and satin rounded collar, and the hidden hook and eye enclosures which give it a more soft and girlie touch. Available at Bluefly for $540 $342

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
