The name, Dirty Librarian Chains, is completely hilarious and memorable; their designs are unforgettable too. Designer Susan Domelsmith started the line by creating pieces for herself from repurposed vintage jewelry, but boutiques soon began to take notice and she launched a full collection that is now recognized worldwide.

Some pieces exude simple elegance, like this “Recall” necklace, while others are an edgy tangle of chains and charms like this “Tracings” necklace.

My favourite is the “Call Number” necklace; it’s definitely a statement piece and a great way to add an edge to an otherwise simple outfit. View the full collection at Dirty Librarians. To purchase visit www.tobi.com.

Finally!!! As a studying, *soon-to-be* librarian, I’m glad to see a shoutout to us! The collection is very funny and chic, however, the price tags are well beyond a typical library salary…harumph!
