The name, Dirty Librarian Chains, is completely hilarious and memorable; their designs are unforgettable too. Designer Susan Domelsmith started the line by creating pieces for herself from repurposed vintage jewelry, but boutiques soon began to take notice and she launched a full collection that is now recognized worldwide.

Some pieces exude simple elegance, like this “Recall necklace, while others are an edgy tangle of chains and charms like this “Tracings necklace.

My favourite is the “Call Number necklace; it’s definitely a statement piece and a great way to add an edge to an otherwise simple outfit. View the full collection at Dirty Librarians. To purchase visit www.tobi.com.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
