Marks & Spencer have done their best to shake off their dated image in the past few years, what with Supermodel Erin O’Connor and fashion icon, Twiggy acting as the face of their brand. But their latest collaboration will put even the fashionably-forward Topshop to shame , and that’s not an easy feat, you know.

Yes, you heard right, Marks & Spencers will be joining other high-street collaborators this October, when Sex and the City super stylist, Patricia Field, designs a 35-piece clothing and accessory range inspired by the sexy style of New York City. This highly anticipated collection will not only be sold in their UK stores, but will also be available to purchase online and in a few international markets, which is a first for the fashion giant.

Field says she was inspired to work with a brand that understands woman of all ages and sees the new collection as an expression of her philosophy of ‘democratisation of luxury’.

With Kate Moss‘s Topshop range and Lilly Allen’s New Look range going down a treat with shoppers, you can only imagine what a Sex and the City follower might do to get her hands on a garment. You best get in line now…

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
