MAC: Naughty Nauticals for Summer

naughtynauticals150708.jpgJust when you think that the Spring/Summer nautical trend has reached its peak this season, MAC gets in on the action by launching a brand new range inspired by deep-blue oceans and sparkling luxury cruise liners.

The Naughty Nauticals collection is designed to create the illusion of a summer spent cruising the Med, with inspiring colours ranging from the brightest bell-bottom blues, to the sexiest reds. They’ve also provided the perfect accompaniment to the striking colours, by including soft, sheer nude lipsticks and sparkling glosses in pinks and peach tones.

I adore the ‘Meet The Fleet’ eyeshadow in matte midnight blue. The smouldering blue looks almost black and will easily take you from day to night.

I paired this with the ‘Hey, Sailor’ lustreglass in plum pink and white pearl (it’s my lipstick of the month)

and topped it off with the ‘Naughty Nauticals’ nail lacquer in dark royal blue. The nail polish itself has had so many compliments, I’m sure it will be a bestseller.

Other fabulous products in the fleet include the ‘Submarine’ eyeshadow in striking blue…

and the ‘Buoy-O-Buoy’ lipstick in creamy pink brown.

All in all it’s a great collection of colours and shades – ideal for both the summer months and dark winter days. So, invest in a little Sailor chic and I guarantee you’ll be turning heads this season.
