Giles Deacon
British designer Giles Deacon has launched a new jewellery line ready for next spring.

His signature boundary-pushing designs are back in edgy, gothic-inspired statement pieces, including silver and gold cuffs adorned with jewelled animal ears, an oversized gold spider ring, and an oversized crystal and feather statement necklace. Silver animal head pendants and chunky gold rings set with semi-precious stones also feature in the collection, offering a more relaxed, subtle style.

Unlike his big show-stopping pieces in the past, Deacon’s new jewellery – inspired by his own clothing designs – makes a for very wearable collection. He told Elle UK:

“In the past we did big show pieces, but these are very workable into everyday life.”

“[I took] elements or themes recurring in past collections and recreated them , if a girl liked a particular collection, she’ll be able to buy jewellery that reminds her of it.”

How thoughtful. Of course, Deacon’s collection has already been snapped up by some of London’s top stores including Selfridges, and will arrive in time for S/S10.
