A week since Reese Witherspoon’s marriage to agent Jim Hoth in Ojai and we’re finally seeing pictures of her pink wedding gown trickle onto the internet, namely thanks to People.
So, if we’re all sitting comfortably, let’s spend the next minute dissecting her dress.
Custom made by celeb red carpet favourite Monique Lhuillier, Reese’s pink gown is less girlie than we’d anticipated, blossoming in soft blush rather than a sweet candied colour – and the result is utterly charming.
We love the simple silhouette, structured at the body and straight to the floor with a slight A-line flare and just enough full, fluffy wispiness to satisfy our nuptial needs.
Top points for the fuss-free styling, too – barely-there makeup, save for perhaps a hint of peach, and hair down without a tousle or wave in sight.
Classic, pretty and feminine with a cute contemporary spin, we’re giving Witherspoon an A* for her second wedding dress. Take that, Elle Woods (although, now we think of it, the dresses are kind of similar…).
